Good product!

It works as advertised. Its light weight and holds 8 cups with room to spare and is easy to clean. It does have some room for improvement though. The only reason I would ever boil milk is to cook oats or tapioca. I have cooked both in it and it works but I have to remove the whistle in order to keep cooking after the milk gets boiling hot. There is no easy way to do this but it can be done with tongs. Also I would greatly prefer one long handle to two short handles. The handles do get quite hot. That having been said I do think this is a awesome product. I have been wanting something like this for a very long time. If they come out with a new improved model I will certainly buy it too.

So easy to use when heating milk for homemade yogurt. The only downside is needing to transfer the heated milk to another vessel for the cool-down period. Since the inner wall has water that's come to boil, this change is a requirement to really hasten the process before adding the live yogurt culture.

After a half dozen uses boiling milk, the lid discolored and the inside appears to have leached metals into the milk. Not a good buy. Claimed to be pure aluminum. Should never have bought it. Buy stainless steel instead.

The outer shining goes away in one wash! If you like a shining vessel, better but a stainless steel vessel, though it may cost a few dollars more!
