This is a beautiful, professional sword, well worth the price.

Look, we should know this is just a copy of an original blade, an authentic sword would be thousands, for the price this is a Great Wall hanger, don’t know if it would break if used, the handle for being a copy looks good but the real deal is this blade, mine was absolutely perfect, the polished blade looks super nice, very happy with this purchase.

Really well made, really sharp. But the Sheth looks like it was not made well. But definitely worth the price. My first sword in 3 years so worth the wait.

Amazing katana the were some minor scratches on the saya and some metal shaving on the habaki but after a cleaning it was all good love the tsuka ito very comfortable the katana is very balanced as well

modern steel making techniques make folded steel obsolete in terms of durability. doesn't seem to be faux damascus. feels great in hand with the added wire woven into the tsuka. i've seen these exact same swords from this forge being sold for $300+ on other katana sites, so buying forge direct like this is gonna save you a couple hundred. i like the look so much i bought a hammered damascus steel ring on etsy to match.

Loved the way it looked until I saw the crack on the habaki, the “brass” piece that is right above the tsuba. Really speaks to the poor quality metal. Honestly really bummed, was waiting for this to get back in stock for a long time. It’s pretty, but not a good value for what I paid.

beautiful sharp and well made,the damascus pattern is awesome and it is different than other blades with the saw blade effect on the spine,only complaint the scabbard is not so nice because it is hard to see the picture ,why do that it would be better to paint a solid color!
