High Street TV Smart Air Fast Chill Tower with 5L water tank

I was in two minds about ordering this air cooler because I have read so many reviews on other models that say they are no better than a standard fan.However, this one works well - I use empty olive spread cartons to make blocks of ice to put in the water chamber. With the water chilled by the ice, the unit puts out a refreshing cool breeze even in very hot conditions when ordinary fans are just blowing warm air around.There are 3 speeds and all are fairly quiet - the low speed and the middle speed still produce a cool stream because of the water curtain at the back of the machine, ideal for anyone who wants an ultra quiet cooler when sleeping. The water tank contains a pump that feeds the water curtain which it does without extra noise.The unit comes with a remote control which allows for setting of speeds, and chill or standard fan, and also the timer, which can be set between 1 and 4 hours. There is also a directional airflow control that can be switched on or off by the remote control. All controls can also be operated on the top of the machine.The machine is rated at 55 watts, and my smart-meter indicates that it is very economical in use.The general build of the machine is good and it is nicely finished, and also looks good.It's not heavy to move around, and is compact enough to store easily when not in use.Just to be on the safe side, I took out the extra two year warranty that covers accidental damage and anything not covered by the manufacturer - the cover is very good value for money.When I made this purchase I was half expecting to return it, but all in all, I am very pleased with the unit and it won't be going back.If you are frustrated by fans that just blow out warm air when you really need to cool down, give this cooler a try, I think you will be well pleased by the performance.

I’m not sure it was as cold as I thought it would be. It is fairly quiet to use in a bedroom. Still cooled the room during the heatwave.

i bought the smart air cooler as my original fan just wasnt cooling the room down enough, and im seriously impressed with it, fir the price its much bigger than i thought it would be and actually blows cold air out. which is a blessing with the hot weather. my dogs love that they can keep cool themselves to.
