If you are planning to hit the road and are thinking one of these might be a good idea, it is. I’ve used this little guy many times in a pinch. It’s compact and lightweight, but durable enough to hold up; Now granted I’m not a big dude so take that for what it’s worth. A pointer for you guys: A good spot to use it is in the pocket of your front doors (side depending on whether your r/l handed). This gives you the ability to lean your opposing side and prop up against when lifting your cheek to clean up. Hope that helps someone.

I was afraid to sit on this toilet because I was afraid it was going to accidentally come undone and collapse down to a couple of inches and leave me sitting in my own pee. I set it up and with the lid still on it, I sat down on it to see if it was going to come falling down. It didn't. I wiggled around a bit to see if I could make it collapse down (I was hanging onto the nearby sink just in case). It remained upright and felt sturdy.The only downside for me personally is that it is rather short. I have a fused spine and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to bend to sit and then get back up again because it is so low. I ended up putting it on a little wooden step and that is where I used it. It made it the exact height that I needed and was very easy to get up from. If you find the height lacking like I did, bring something to set it upon and it will be perfect.I also was afraid that the bags appeared to be too thin so I double bagged it with the bags that I use for my office trash can from Costco. It gave me more peace of mind. It never did leak and I just kept throwing away the inside bag while leaving the Costco bag on there.Oh, I also put a couple of paper towels in the bottom of the plastic bag just in case of leaking. I figured if it was going to leak, at least the paper towels inside would limit the amount of leakage.I was very happy with how small it folds down too. Well, I was once I got over the fear of it collapsing on me while I was sitting on it.

I like it because of how compact it is and it makes it easy to pack it. The only thing that I did not like is the bags that came with it. when you try to tear one to be used it does not tear by the grooves it tears in an angle.

We were roughing it in the National Forest. The nearest bathroom a half mile away. That's not going to work for my 7 year olds. When they gotta go, they gotta go. We set this up in the tent and it worked great. The kids were comfortable doing their business and for me sealing the bag and carrying it to bury wasn't a thing. I bought separate compostable bags so I could bury in the National Forest without regret. A must have until our kids are old enough to carry a shovel into the woods.
