Lesser Evil: A Dark Mafia Romance

This is not what I thought it would be. Very good story. Love cauldron. I love how possessive he is. Not too sure about camille. She seemed badass at the beginning then change into clingy and dramatic person.

Wow! Loved this from beginning to end! Masterfully written. Hot steamy sex scenes revenge, gritty violence, unrequited love and heartbreak in lavish surroundings, it keeps your interest and entertained all the way through with no dull skim reading parts at all. I read "Protect Your Queen" before this and that was nowhere near the same class as this. Excellent book and I'm eager to read on - I'm off there right now! I highly recommend this, read it you won't regret it.

King Charles III's Coronation is done and it's chucking down with heavy rain so I read this book. So many broken characters trying to survive. Cauldron and Camille's story is painful but written so well. Are the incredibly wealthy people really this messed up? I'm gripped. I have to read the next book in the hope that two scarred and broken people will find their path to happiness.

A new series by this great author. One of deep seated hatred, revenge , mistrust, and much more. Camille is a woman, but also a commodity. Owned by one person, who holds something she considers priceless and treasured, and used as a bargaining tool. She manages to escape the clutches of Graves , and is advices to seek the help of Cauldon, but at a price. The story unfolds and we are introduced to an old character Bones, for a fleeting moment, and then learn more about the depth of deceit , depravity and desire of both Cauldon and Graves, both of which are dark. Camille falls for one and hates the other, but drama, secrets and intrigue abound. It’s difficult as the reader to judge whom you feel to be the better option of the two extremely dark characters, but Camille has an attraction, makes her choice, and is resolved to live by her decision. Is it the correct one? To read is to know. Cauldon is one very cold hearted character, who’s emotions are not really shown warm and fuzzy. Graves appears the vast in the senario but again are things what they seem, and in the middle is a woman’s emotions. Selling her body, or giving it to have the treasure she desires returned to her. When she does reality may hit hard. The monster can often be more desirable than the demon. Only the next book may shed light on the unfolding gripping series.

I really enjoyed this book; not usually a genre I favour. This is pretty action packed, with breaths for breathless sex, and heart racing action. Can’t wait to see who ends up where and how. This book is well written with few errors so well done to the proof readers! A writer I will look out for more often.

What a brilliant story Camille is running from Grave and the only person who can help is Cauldron. She discovers that they are half brothers sisters have a vendetta against each other. Compelling reading Camille cannot forgive Cauldron for what he has done or will she? Cannot wait to read more in the next book

I absolutely loved this book. Loved the characters and the story. It was fast paced. I finished it in a dayI understand both Cauldron and Camille. A lot of people felt like Camille always felt so much more than Cauldron. But I don’t think so. His character made sense to me. Grave was the obsessed one. Cauldron had to be the detached one. It took time for his heart to catch up with his mind. He was used to conducting his life and mind in a certain way. The entire time, he was doing things with Camille that either meant he was fully playing her for the sake of revenge or he actually felt things for her. I don’t think we ever got clarity on whether the extra touching, kissing or cuddling meant one way or the other. However with the kissing for example..I just don’t understand how he could have such deep seated issues to where he can’t kiss a woman. He can’t open up to ANYONE. No one can sleep in his bed. But slowly he allowed himself those things with Camille. I believe that was his heart opening up to her and allowing what felt good. His intention was to get revenge. But along the way he struggled to be fully aware of what their relationship had become. The book didn’t give many incidents where he felt regret, but there were times he regretted calling Camille a whore. That meant something. Camille’s character was believable to me. Some say she got too clingy. I don’t feel that way. I think she had realistic needs and he remained too distanced. It’s misplaced judgement. In reality it was a bit like that syndrome where the kidnapped falls for their captor. After all, she acknowledged that he wasn’t perfect.

Wow das war episch. Ich war wirklich in dieser Geschichte, die mich umgehauen hat.Ich bin einfach wieder einmal sprachlos.Penelope Sky du haust mich immer wieder um mit deinen raffinieren, erotischen, emotionalen Geschichten. Und das Charakteren aus den anderen Büchern erwähnt wurden hat mich sehr gefreut.Man muss alle Bücher lesen denn man hat immer eine Verbindung zu den anderen und das ist so genial. Ich liebe es.

Mrs. Sky once again has wrote a good easy to read book . I have enjoyed reading her books and will continue to read in the future
