Varathane, Aged Wheat, 1/2 Pint, 11 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

The first disappointment with this product was the size. I bought a quart of another Varathane stain from Amazon at the same time and thought this stain was the same size. When purchased, the two prices were similar. Once I received the stain, the two items were packaged well but this stain was significantly smaller than the other stain. This may not always be the case, but the second stain I received was only eight ounces. The next disappointment was there are no returns. I have heard this is great stain and works well for red oak so this is no reflection on the product itself. Just make sure you note the size so you do not find yourself disappointed also.

If you need to get rid of the red tones in oak, this green tinted stain will do it! It’s the only stain I found that does this..

The price of this stain is what a quart should cost. The half pint is no more than $3 at home improvement stores. So I ordered thinking that the price is for a quart. I should have read the description but also it’s non refundable.

The product states that they are sending you an 11 ounce can of wood stain, when in fact, they only send you an 8 ounce can. That’s almost a third of the entire product shorted. Pretty much false advertisement. The stain itself is great, beautiful color. Amazon and their vendors need to do better about presenting the correct information before you buy something that they won’t let you return. However, I did manage to get a refund.
