This is a great basic sewing machine and a does what you need to do for straight stitches. Zigzag stitches 10 to be a little bit more tricky year with the tension but comes out beautiful if use cotton. I found that what are the drawbacks was using any kind of knit or fabric that stuff synthetic. ConnorCotton and wool seem to be the two fabrics it will handle with no problem. This would be a great machine to take to quilting classes or retreats.

I purchased this machine right before a business trip so I could take it with me. It arrived the day before I left so unfortunately I could not try it out. When I unpacked it at my destination to use, the bobbin was jamed. Yes they shipped a non working machine!!! No mater what I did, the bobin would not work past 1 stitch. I am not new to sewing and I know how to thread a machine and I followed the instructions to the letter. Horrible machine. I can't even return it because by the time I got home the return window had closed. So I am out the money and can't use the machine. I have to put some kind or rating so it gets 1 star because of the weight. Again.... don't waste your money.

I was shocked to see this little beast do the job. I would recommend this congrats 12 stitch to everyone. It works like a regular size sewing machine with the added convenience of not having to use the foot peddle. You can also take it with you back stage to do any needed surprise repairs running on the batteries. I love this machine and very glad I took the risk of buying it.

It is really great sewing machine set. it is so convenient to buy the sewing machine ,press foot and hussif in this store at the same time . Press foot and sewing thread's quality are great . this protable sewing machine for the beginner ,I bought this sewing accessories and machine for my granddaughter, she loves it very much . Highly Recommended.

The needle was the line right soI was not able to fix it , I retired but when trying to sew it hit the plate plumes the plate still did not work have to buy 100 one instead
