I enjoyed this edition more than regular game of life. It's fun and doesn't take long to finish

I always wanted a Game of LIFE game but not the regular version. This theme uses the mechanisms very well, it's more than just a licensed game with the LIFE spinner attached.After playing a few games, each player averaged drawing 2-6 Event cards (some good, some bad, some using the spinner, some stealing other player(s) eggs etc), 0-2 Skill cards that are kept thru the game (max 3), 0-2 Item cards (3 max) that are single use, some of which come into play and others situational that don't. That's from taking the shorter routes. Those cards are gained from landing on spaces on the board.The box art and board are very esthetic, the Dinosaur minis are very nice and solid plastic, they move from segment-to-segment at the end of each round and affect colored areas, the result of which is losing the amount of eggs that the Storm tracker is on, or if the game lasts 14 rounds, then losing Rangers from the SUV. We averaged losing 2-9 eggs to Dinosaur attacks.Our games lasted between 10-13 out of 15 rounds.The primary ways of scoring victory points is by gaining eggs, and also Ranger pegs into your SUV and bonus points for getting to either the Helipad or Dock spaces 1st (5), 2nd (3) and 3rd (1) 4th (0) which can make the difference since the scores are usually close enough to make it fun.Read the rules a couple times to understand them and its easy to play.The game components are well-packed and good quality. The spinner assembles easily and is easy to remove from the board.The box doesn't come in shrink wrapped plastic, basically saving it from landfills. The box is taped together with those clear round stickers that are common these days.

Awesome version of this game! We all play together as a family. Great for age 10+. Can’t go wrong with dinosaurs!
