These sounds good, have a half decent app and good battery life. These are leaned more towards the bass for sound, but not overly so. There are preset EQ's in the app, but no custom option. Noise cancelling is really good but not great, still sit behind Sony a little bit. I'm comparing these to the AKG N200nc and the Sony XM4 headphones and for the price these are unbelievable. I would drop a star as they do feel a bit flimsy and they don't come with a case. But the price is unbelievable! Essentially if you were thinking of spending upto £200 on headphones I promise you won't go far wrong with these.

I bought these headphones to use at work as I spend a lot of time in video or audio calls via Microsoft Teams, and I'm very impressed by the quality and performance at this price point. In terms of build quality, the headphones are very light but they don't feel as "plasticky" as I expected. There is a decent amount of padding and I find them comfortable enough to wear from 8am to 5pm. I am not an audiophile by any means but I have no complaints about the sound quality when listening to podcasts, music, or ambient/background sounds. Furthermore, the microphone exceeded my expections. I have found with other headphones that the quality of the microphone is often an afterthought but that is not the case here. Part of my job involves recording voiceovers for training videos and the built-in microphone picks up my voice very clearly. Finally, the noise cancellation is impressive for the price. For context, I am autistic and extremely sensitive to noise, so ANC is a non-negotiable requirement for me when choosing headphones. It probably won't surprise you to learn that the ANC is not at the level of my Sony or Bose headphones and they probably wouldn't meet *my* requirements for use in crowds or on public transport, but they are perfectly adequate for use indoors. They easily block out all of the traffic noise from the busy road outside my office window and they generally make my working environment much more comfortable.

I bought these headphone as an inexpensive alternative to my Sony WH-1000XM5 top of the range headphones, as I don't venture out and about with them unless I am flying somewhere. I also wanted some over ear headphone for when I do DIY, as I find ear buds uncomfortable with extensive use. So here's the great news, these are excellent headphones and when directly comparing them to the XM5's, yes there is a sound quality drop but as they are 1/6th of the price I paid for the Sony headphones the overall sound quality really is quite remarkable for the price I paid. The further good news is that in undertaking my noise cancelling test, of sticking my head under our cooker extractor fan hood when it's on full blast, the noise cancelling is really rather good with a significant reduction in the external noise. With like for like comparisons with the Sony's of course the MX5 were better, but not five times better. Now for my disappointment with these headphones. First, the Edifier company are cheapskates in not supplying any form of either cloth or solid case for the headphones, this in my view is entirely unacceptable when you can buy solid headphone cases from TEMU for around £4.00. Secondly and most importantly and why I have returned these headphone, I found wearing them made my ears to hot which I found uncomfortable. I am a middle aged man with average sized ears, so I accept they may well be fine for ladies and teens with smaller ears. One of the things I love about the Sony headphones is I can watch and listen to TV all evening without any discomfort, within an hour of testing the Edifiers and I had to take them off. Shame, because apart from the over heating I was very impressed with the headphones.

Headphones are great, sound quality is amazing and fit amazingly. Noise cancellation is "ok" better than majority of headphones however it gives outside audio a weird effect so that you can still hear what is happening around you. Battery life is good but not what promised. I spent the day in london yesterday and was using the for about 10 hours on noise cancellation mode and they died soon after. Overall great headphones but just a few things that could be better. PS: headphones do not fold up so it does take a decent amount of space in bags.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Best budget headphones I've ever had, clear sound, fantastic noise cancelling and easy to use. I've got ADHD so I need music all the times to focus, and these headphones are amazing for it.

Sound is good . App is useless and never used again after tried once. Headphone is good and durable, still using it after about 2 years of everyday use

Negatives first: - buttons take some getting used to, to identify which ones which (bit fiddly) - they don't go very loud so I often have to use a volume booster on my phone - during gym use, the leather ear pads get quite sticky - the size adjustment is too lose, it can widden just from holding them at the top - they don't fold or come with a case, so I had to purchase my own case Positives: - battery last very long, I've managed to use them for a week (2 hours of gym for 5 days + a few long journeys) without needing to charge them - noise cancelling is very good, was not expecting them to be this good, I'm unable to hear the engine of bus and noise in open spaces once music is playing (very good!) - high bass, some may like this but possibly a little too much bass Overall, very impressed for the price but they're still not perfect

Il confort acustico lo si avverte non appena si indossano, anche prima di accenderle, la riduzione del rumore passiva è percepibile anche da un orecchio non allenato. Attivando la funzione attiva ANC, il confort diventa totale. Si viene quasi estraniati dall'ambiente circostante e l'immersione acustica diventa totale. Paragonate alle MPOW H10, che già garantivano un confort notevole, queste si possono definire su un altro pianeta. Qualità costruttiva, durata della batterie, morbidezza delle spugne e dell'archetto, tutto fa intuire immediatamente che siamo in presenza di un prodotto TOP. Prima dell'acquisto, ero un po' turbato dal costo elevato, ma dopo averle provate, posso dire che valgono veramente i soldi spesi. Ovviamente per poter cogliere al pieno le qualità di queste cuffie, bisogna utilizzare sistemi audio di qualità. La sorgente musicale deve essere di qualità molto elevata, pertanto un CD Originale (fidatevi, tra un CD originale ed uno copiato si sente a orecchio la differenza), meglio ancora se un SACD, ma anche un Vinile, un Mini Disc o anche un MP3 lossless, ma suonato da una sorgente di altissima qualità come un Cayin o un FiiO. Ich habe lange nach Over-Ear-Kopfhörern gesucht, die bequem sind, gut klingen und nicht gleich ein Vermögen kosten – und bin bei den Edifier W820NB Plus gelandet. Was soll ich sagen? Ich bin richtig zufrieden! Der Sound ist echt toll, schön ausgewogen, mit angenehmem Bass, ohne dass irgendwas dröhnt oder schrill wird. Auch die Verarbeitung fühlt sich richtig hochwertig an, nichts klappert oder wirkt billig. Dazu sind sie super bequem – ich kann sie stundenlang tragen, ohne dass irgendwas drückt oder nervt. Das ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) ist okay – natürlich nicht so mega stark wie bei teureren Modellen, aber völlig ausreichend für meinen Alltag. Es nimmt genug Störgeräusche raus, damit ich mich auf Musik oder Podcasts konzentrieren kann, aber man sollte keine absolute Stille erwarten. Für den Preis ist das völlig in Ordnung. Der Akku hält auch ewig, die Verbindung geht schnell und stabil, und ich finde es mega angenehm, dass sie nicht so schwer auf dem Kopf liegen. Für mich sind die Kopfhörer ein absoluter Glücksgriff – ich würde sie definitiv wieder kaufen!

This is a great product considering the price point . The fit itself is so good that it does most of the isolation . Once the ANC kicks in that takes care of most of the noise . Sound quality is great . The only flaw is that the app does not have a customisable EQ ! Thankfully the sound out of the box is good and balanced.

J'écrirai un avis plus long plus tard quand j'aurai davantage de temps, mais je souhaitais déjà écrire un résumé, qui est que ce casque, que j'utilise maintenant depuis 3 semaines de façon intensive (chaque jour pendant 10h+/j) est tout juste exceptionnel. Je l'ai utilisé pour réviser une formation académique de haut niveau pendant plusieurs semaines. Je ne pensais pas qu'un casque anti-bruit m'était nécessaire, car j'ai toujours travaillé avec du bruit et de la musique. Quelle erreur d'appréciation! Les filtres anti-bruit actif et passif sont tout simplement incroyables, ils filtrent de façon impressionnante presque tous les types de bruits sur toutes les fréquences, que ce soit les fréquences graves ou aigues. Pour les audiophiles, le son est très bien équilibré, et il ressort merveilleusement bien avec le filtre anti-bruit actif! Quand il est activé, les sons musicaux ont encore plus de profondeur, c'est certainement de qualité studio à mon avis et d'après les tests en ligne. Pour ceux qui ont peur qu'un casque anti-bruit avec des coussins à mémoire de forme comme celui-ci cause de la chaleur et des inconforts dans les oreilles, je peux dire que ce n'est pas le cas. J'ai pourtant le conduit auditif des oreilles très sensibles, je ne supporte souvent pas les bouchons d'oreille alors que j'en ai besoin pour dormir la nuit, mais ce casque ne cause que très très peu d'humidité dans les oreilles alors qu'il a pourtant une très bonne adhérence hermétique autour des oreilles. Il est extrêmement confortable. Pour les audiophiles et les exigents, il y a des vidéos youtube permettant d'écouter le filtre anti-bruit actif de plusieurs casques, dont les meilleurs actuels (sony et apple), et incluant celui-ci de Edifier, et bien qu'il soit bien sûr moins efficace, ses performances restent très proche à mon avis, à un coût bien moindre. Il y a également le test détaillé du soundguys, avec des courbes audio qui montrent objectivement que le rendu audio est bien équilibré et que le filtre anti-bruit est très efficace sur toutes les fréquences. Vraiment, une très belle réussite par Edifier avec ce W820NB Plus, bravo!
