After using the TC20 Dog Training Collar for a few weeks, here’s my breakdown of the pros and cons:⭐ Pros:✅ Multiple Training Modes: The combination of beep, vibration, and shock gives me flexibility. Most of the time, I only need the beep or vibration to get my dog’s attention. Shock mode is there if necessary, but it’s adjustable and should be used with care.✅ Impressive Range: The 1600ft range is a game changer. I tested it in open spaces, and it held up well, making off-leash training much easier.✅ Rechargeable & Long Battery Life: Both the remote and collar hold a solid charge. I’ve only had to charge it once every few days with moderate use.✅ Waterproof Design (IPX7): My dog loves to run through sprinklers and play in wet grass, so having a waterproof collar gives me peace of mind. No issues so far with durability.✅ Adjustable for Different Sizes: Fits well on my medium-sized Goldendoodle, but I tested it on a neighbor’s smaller dog, and it adjusted down nicely. The strap is sturdy and doesn’t feel flimsy.⚠️ Cons:❌ Buttons Are a Bit Sensitive: I wish the remote had a lock function to prevent accidental presses, especially if it’s in a pocket.❌ Shock Level Needs Caution: While it’s adjustable, even at lower levels, it can be intense for sensitive dogs. Since May 2021 we bought 4 sets of NVK dog training collars (consisting of 2 collars each + 1 remote +1 charger) for our 4 athletic, medium size (~65 lb.), daily hard running dogs). Heavy duty construction of dog collar material limits breakage, rips,tearing of these collars when our dogs engage in daily rough house "neck biting" play. I would offer if your dog weighs less than 20 lbs. then this particular collar design may be too large to comfortably wear. The transmitters' on/off control lock feature prevents errant transmission of low level static signals to your dogs training collar which ultimately serves only to further confuse your dog. Excellent feature should you have the need to suddenly carry inside your pocket a previousy switched on NVK transmitter. Pocket pressures against the buttons on the Transmitter can cause errant signals to be sent to your dogs training collar. We learned after many drops of our NVK transmitters from heights of ~9 feet (inside or outside) generally resulted in no damage saving you $$. Rugged construction of plastic lock mechanism built into each NVK collar protects against accidental unlocking of these collars.Such unlocking of collar out in remote areascould result in potential loss of your collar and/or your dog. With an NVK collar your dog will soon learn desired behavior safely and quickly. Further, one NVK transmitter can control 4 separate NVK training collars. In our situation of having to collar 4 dogs, if we were to lose/misplace one of our 2 NVK transmitters then we would still be in business b/c our one remaining NVK Transmitter will still "pair to" and control all 4 of our training collars. Thus all 4 dogs remain protected. Some say its not a good idea to take four dogs out in the field without a backup plan. You may ask why we had to buy 4 sets of the noted NVK dog training collar systems in just 2 1/2 years if these collars are as well made as I contend ? Yes to your question of being well made and durable. Although NVK collars are made with a high water resistance rating no transmitter made can withstand when your teenager leaves outside for days your Transmitter in mud puddles or when the locks on the collars are not correctly connected together to begin with and get lossed at only God knows where ? No, I don't work for NVK in any manner. Never have. Just love dogs. Good luck 🤞

Worked great! good quality, great value, I would still use it, except I lost the remote and can't seem to get a replacement remote. Only hard part is that I primarily use the vibration and beep and rarely the shock and there does not seem to be a way to lock the shock part. Collar is water proof, my dog loves to go swimming and never had any issues with it not working in the water or after he got out, simple to charge, remote and collar are sturdy.
