When Yusuf Sahab a small yes in a petrified tone, he was immediately slapped by his father.Another scenario reads that the father and son really never got along until the next 2 years, until a professor from Ismail Yusuf College who was a family friend. Another thing that is highlighted in the book by the author is Sahab's interest in learning what and understanding the world beyond his movies, also he just loved learning about new latest technologies.The best part about this book is that when you read it with a little focus, it feels like the whole book is pictured in the mind like when we watch a movie, as the only difference here is it's a book you're reading, must read!

It was an enjoyable read. From the excerpts of his personal time spent with Dilip Kumar, Author has distinctly narrated the yesteryear's Legend's affable yet fatherly demeanor. Dilip Kumar's brief childhood to his entry in the Industry to his love for food and respect for fans give you an insider's view of his personal life. The chapters on his Family, Friends and love of his life - Saira Banu make us understand his way of keeping and maintaining the relationships strong.If you are a die fard fan of the Legend, consider this memoir as a must-buy.

Beautiful life of a lengendary man, beautifully captured. The writing is thoughtful and robust and speaks directly to the heart. Creating a movie like experience, but rather this is very much personal than we saw on reels. Dilip kumar was inspirational, and I think this book will help to retain and preserve the memory of the legend for the coming generations. Enjoyed reading the book, just loved it.

It sheds lights on some facets of Dilip Saab's life which are till date unknown and cannot be found on any website, I am his biggest fan and have not missed anything that could be foundon the internet about him on any blogs, articles and websites, this book however has something that most of other info sources fail to offer. Definitely a must read.
