Awesome hammock! A++++ on customer service!
First of all, I am not, repeat - NOT, one who writes reviews for products. However, with the wonderful customer service I received, I just had to sing the praises about my experience with the company we purchased it from. Been meaning to order another hammock for several summers now and finally got around to doing it! We were looking for one similar to a friend’s weaved hammock that we absolutely loved and this ended up being the closest we could find…not too big a weave that lets elbows, feet or other larger body parts poke through and one that could hold a bit of weight (my hubby is a big 6’ linebacker type guy and I’m definitely not what you would call, “petite”) but without the rough, rope-like feel. Hammock arrived. Unfortunately, there was something a little strange with the weaving…like one strip of it got weaved too tight so it literally felt like you had a perpetual wedgie when you laid down in it. At first we thought we could make do however, the long term wear and tear started to concern me, especially considering that my husband and I aren’t smallish type people, that eventually I decided to call the company to see what we could do to remedy the situation. (I thought maybe soaking it in water and then having my hubby sleep in it overnight to stretch it out would help?) I called during business hours and the customer service rep - not an calling autobot or overseas call in service - kindly listened to my first-world dilemma and offered to ship us out another one, no problem! It had to be shipped out soon after I talked with her because it came within just a few days. So now we have this wonderful hammock that the whole family loves, one that both my husband and I can cuddle up in - without the perpetual wedgie feeling. One side note to all you “Karens” out there or if you’ve never owned a weaved hammock before - give your hammock some time to stretch. We have ours on a stand, outside on our deck. So when you first go to set it up, the chain links may not be long enough at first. We had some extra chain links and carrabeaners (sp?) to get it to initially fit on the hammock stand. When you go to sit/lay on it you may almost end up on the ground (or on the ground/bar like my hubby and I did when we first got in it). I promise you, it will be okay (unless you got one with a wedgie weave, then you may need to call customer service). Just give it a few days….each time you get in the hammock it will stretch, keep shortening the chain link length to your height preference. We’ve had a bit of a crazy year but, I can honestly say, its one of the few things that has given us a reprieve from it all, it’s become one of our favorite places to chill this summer…a happy place!:-)

Great company and great product
I received the item and love everything about it. The rope is thick, soft and comfortable. The only problem was there was a hole in one part of the hammock where it looks like a loop was missed in the weaving of the rope. I contacted the manufacturer and they were very quick with their response and immediately put in for a replacement to be sent to me right away. Would definitely recommend this company to anybody.

Dog days of summer
I am a big guy 6'2, 282 pounds. I also like antique, vintage, or period correct replicas. This hammock fits that bill. It is so soft, flexible and sturdy, it cradles you as you rock gently in the breeze. Does not pinch or dig into your flesh, and totally comfortable. Has the look of yesteryear, but the strength of modern technology. I am so happy with this product. I planted these 2 Maple trees 30 years ago myself, just for this moment! I am very pleased with my purchase!

Great Hammock
The quality is top notch and the blue color as no fade at all after 1 season. I've had 2 other hammocks, and this is by far the best. It dries very quickly after a rain and is quite soft to the touch. I'm a big guy weighing in at just short of 300lbs and this works just fine. Setup is easy as long as you have a couple of trees or you want to drop some posts in the ground (use cement) and hang it between them. If you are considering a hammock, this is a good choice.

I DO NOT recommend
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The hammock looks great; however, it is all but unusable. I purposely ordered a large 55-inch-wide hammock to enjoy solo as well as with family and friends, but in reality, what I have is a 12-inch-wide hammock. The middle 12 inches of the hammock lengthwise is much more taut then the outer sides of the hammock which means that to use the hammock a person must balance on those middle 12 inches. In the event you are able to get onto the hammock lengthwise which is a conquest in itself, and you allow a foot or hand to drop off that 12-inch space you will immediately be tilted and thrown off the hammock. To lay sideways across the hammock is similar to laying over the back of your couch, your center has a secure place to rest but your arms and legs have nothing to support them. To sit on the hammock, you must carefully back your legs against the hammock, reach behind you and pull the center of the hammock past where your buttocks will land but not too far past or you will end up on the other side of the hammock on the ground. If you are talented enough to sit on just the right area you are good, unless of course you shift slightly in any direction at which point you will without warning slide to the ground. If you are planning to invite someone to join you in the hammock, make sure you both have acrobatic training. I thought maybe the hammock just needed a break in period, but we have been using it best we can for a month with no change and I curse that I did not return it immediately. I have experience with hammocks and would never recommend this hammock.

Comfortable and holds up to Mother Nature
Bought this for my wife and she loves it. It has held up through all types of weather. Even held up when 3 Black Bears (Mom and 2 cubs) tried to climb into it. The carabiners attaching it to the stand however did not. The hammock had no damage whatsoever.
