We lost our baby to cancer. She was doing so well with her treatments when she took a sudden turn for the worse. She was gone within a day. She was our baby of 14 years and there wasn't a moment she was not part of our family. When a deep loss such as this comes quickly, you are desperate to memorialize your friend with dignity and respect, but have to move quickly as we are always unprepared for such tragedies. I searched desperately for a headstone that would look well made and capture our feelings for her but after spending so much of our savings on oncology treatments for our angel, we are unable to afford much else. Because of our situation, I was so relieved to find this headstone. It is lovely and well made. The inscription is clear and readable and the light sand color is very pretty. It is quite westher resistantas well as it has been raining here since she passed. The stone itself has weight but not so much that you can't pick it up and clean it if you like. Until I found this, I was shocked at some of the companies out there feeding off people's grief by charging hundreds of dollars for items such as this because they know we are hurting and blinded by our grief. Thank goodness CT Discount Store had the decency to price this at a reasonable $29 and it is so well made and dignified. The loss still weighs heavy on our hearts but it helps knowing we were able to give her a resting place as lovely and beautiful as she was.

I had a pet in the family recently pass away. I gave this gift to remember her by and I am glad I found it. It is a nice way to remember our beloved friends. Would 100% recommend!

My 16 year old main coon cat used up the last of her nine lives and went over the rainbow in February. She used to sit in this exact spot on sunny days when she wanna sit outside. I am glad that my little statue memorial did not come broken. It is a nice way to remember our beautiful golden fluffy cat, Puna. The only complaint would be that it is not heavy at all so I hope it can hold up and last. Either way, it is a nice memorial.
