Huggaroo Microwavable Heating Pad | Herbal Aromatherapy Hot/Cold Neck Wrap

Purchased only five months ago, but this wrap has become an integral part of my days. I sincerely love it. After a long day in front of the computer, or staring down at my phone, I put this on my neck, or head, or eyes. During my cycle, I lay it on my chest or belly or feet and take a nap. Stubbed my toes reallly hard, put it on. It heats up nicely and holds its heat, it’s ridiculously soft, snuggly even, it’s nicely weighted, it really blows away all of the other microwavable heating pads I have ever used or wrapped around my neck. It’s the only one I have had that I will reheat 2 or 3 times to keep it going. It’s extra large size is just necessary to treat a nice big area of the body for warmth, and comfort, and pain relief. It also smells like lavender yes, but it is not overpowering, light enough scent. You know, I don’t have a cat anymore or a dog, and this is really good for people who don’t have a pet to snuggle with when they don’t feel well… You can heat it up and snuggle with it like a warm-bodied pet-substitute! Maybe ideal for elderly, those in hospital, care facility, etc. I’m thinking about getting one for several family members who are suffering with aches and pains and I’d highly recommend it. I thought it was indulgently expensive, but five months in, am really delighted it’s here.

This is one of the best things I have ever spent money on. I suffer from chronic pain and arthritis and I have been looking for something that I can get hot that will wrap around my neck for a long time. Well my search is over! This fabric is so incredibly soft and it smells so good when you heat it up. It sits comfortably on my neck and shoulders and finally provides me with the relief I have been needing. I might add a safety pin to the front of it to keep it on but I think this is only an issue if you aren't sitting still relaxing which I would recommend if you are in pain! I'm so happy I found this. It's a really high quality product that comes in a nice box and the fabric is a lot nicer than what the picture looks like. Can't beat the price either. I also like that you can move the filling around to adjust where it is on your back but the filling in the neck part is nice and full so it covers your neck and provides good heat.

I have a pinched nerve in my neck and need to ice my neck, back, and shoulder twice a day. Keeping an ice pack on these areas without using an Ace bandage is difficult. Hugaroo is amazing and hands free so I can ice and continue to work on my computer. It is filled with little beads that cool but don’t cause the freeze on your skin that ice or sports gel packs do. It also can go in the microwave to be heated, so it has dual uses. The exterior is made of a. Ice soft fuzzy material The is comfortable on bare skin and acts as a barrier between you and the cold/heat. If you put it in the freezer I suggest you enclose it in a ziplock bag. Also I would suggest this be used for light icing like sore muscles etc. I don’t think it gets cold enough to be used for icing surgical procedures or injuries with a lot of swelling.

Prepare to get divorced because you are going to want to marry this thing!! It is seriously amazing. I have had neck and shoulder pain with migraines for YEARS. I have figured out that heat really helps with this issue so I normally use a large bag with rice in it that I heat up. This works decently but I always have to try to adjust it and it always falls off. When I saw this recommended by a girl on instagram I bought it RIGHT AWAY because it looked like it would change my life. And this thing is GREAT. When I opened it I was impressed that it was in a box to keep it safe. It feels very soft and plush. It fits so well around my neck. I heat it up for 2 minutes in my microwave and it is PERFECT. It stays on my neck so much better than the bag of rice did. I could honestly do without the smell, it is not my favorite but the rest of this is great. Smells very lemony and herbal kind of like weeds. But the quality is great, idea is amazing and I think this will last a long time. Any review giving this less than 3 stars is crazy. That said these are the ways this could get even better: 1. Make it so we can customize the scent. I would choose something like vanilla or lavender. Mine smells like lemon tea and weeds which I don't love. 2. Make a microwave safe closure on it around the neck area. 3. Add slightly more filling.

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars! It warms the back of the neck, and indeed, the entire neck quite nicely! Feels great. I wish there were more warming beads over the tops of the shoulders. Still, it does a decent job there. This thing really shines elsewhere. Because the cloth is built in, and you don't have to put a cloth between it and your skin, you can put on small of the back or wrap around elbow or hand to magnificent effect. 6 stars for having the cloth built in; that's comfortable and wonderful, and useable on many body parts.. 4 stars for having 20% fewer beads on the tops of the shoulders (though it does passably or better there) 5 stars for the design that warms the neck and 4 stars for the concurrent effect on shoulders and upper back. I would like it to have a snap or something that keeps it fully wrapped around front of the neck when I want it to stay that way, though it does fine without that. The 'lavendar', etc did not create any noticeable smell on first use. I dont' have a great sense of smell, but still, I smelled it not. Not that this matters. I'm in it for the heat, which it does mostly very very well, as you have read.

I have terrible neck and upper back pain routinely - I believe this is where I tend to hold stress. The Hugaroo is so wonderful in helping to calm both my neck and shoulders at the same time! It is heavy and stays in place. The Lavender smell is great and soothing. Unfortunately, the clay beads were not distributed evenly in each cavity and there was a small hole in the seam which the beads 1 by 1 fall out. I am sure this is not the case with all the wraps, but I feel I received a faulty one. The product is overall fantastic, but for it to shed its innards, I am disappointed that it will not be a lasting ptroduct. It could also use more filling as each segment of the wrap does not cover the entire neck or shoulders. Just the very bottom of each section. A few small improvements and sithing would make this product a full 10 rating!!!

As a long time chronic migraine sufferer, I have tried everything to relieve pain and discomfort. Many of my headaches are caused by occipital neuralgia, which is a severe pain that stems from tightness in my shoulders and neck. I am also triggered by strong artificial scents and can't use many of the products out there due to strong smelling aromatherapy. But this neck wrap has been a game changer for my occipital neuralgia. The natural lavender aromatherapy smell is very light and doesn't trigger me in the slightest. The wrap is substantial and it becomes warm quickly and evenly in just 90 seconds. If I can rest for 20 minutes with the Huggaroo heated wrap, then my neck and shoulder muscles are soothed and relaxed, providing fast relief allowing me to get back to my 4 children and the tasks that are always waiting for me. But I have also been known to cook dinner while wearing the wrap if things are just too hectic too! I highly recommend this product and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another for a friend or family member who might need a tool to help soothe their achy muscles at the end of a long day. The materials are top notch and the packaging is too, the instructions are super easy to follow and it provides quick and consistent relief! 5 stars!

I've been in some fairly intense physical therapy for upper neck pain (arthritis, exacerbated by bone spurs). PT sessions always end with a moist heat wrap around my neck, and it is delicious. So I went looking for my own version. This comes very close. It is not literally moist, but it feels that way because of the way the heat radiates. I find that I need to leave it in the microwave longer than the instructions indicate, but that is probably just me (or my microwave). The size is awesome, allowing for a lot of customization. It is just like the photos, kind of a cape that goes out to the shoulder edge, and covers the upper back. My pain is specific to the highest part of my spine (with pain radiating to the muscles and nerves on the lower back of my head). So no problem--I just flip the cape thing up away from my back and place my head on it. It is great. I'm sure everyone realizes that a product like this cannot "cure" chronic issues like arthritis, but it gives significant relief in the moment and afterward. A great value--highly recommended! Regarding the scent... I have the gray one. The scent is minimal--doesn't add or detract from the experience.
