Roller Derby Boys Blazer Lighted Wheel Roller Skate

After reading the reviews, I decided to buy a size larger of these rollerskates. My daughter just grew out of size 3, but not quite a full size 4, so I figured size 5 ( considering that these are running small ) would be perfect and she still can grow in them. Well, size 5 was so big that my 7.5 feet fit in them and was not very uncomfortable. In children sizing I would be a size 6, so I think these rollerskates are very much on size. So I exchanged these to a size 4 and it was perfect. I also have to add that my daughter has narrow and flat feet, which could be why the size 4 fit her better. This is something to consider if your child has wide feet, maybe you need to upsize then.Some other reviews pointed out wheel issues. We had the same problem, the front left wheel on the left pair on both size 4 and 5 hardly turned. We had to get a socket wrench to loosen the wheel up (this did not compromise the safety of the wheel) and now it works fine.

In our neighborhood, there's a small group of 4-5 kids that like to hang out and do things together. Typically they'll bike ride, but lately they've been roller skating up and down the street. When my son got these skates they were a little big for him. Fast forward a few months, and now we're moving and grooving! These skates have been great! The light up wheels are his favorite part.

My kiddo typically finds the higher boot fit of an ice skate, etc. to be uncomfortable. I ordered these skates because they looked like more of a sneaker. She finds them to be very comfortable. The light up wheels are also a plus.

My son loves these! He's 4.5 years old and they are the perfect starter skate! He saw a kid with them one time we went and asked me to order them for him, lol. The light up wheels really made him happy. I got the skating rink employee to slow the wheels down so he's much more confident skating without help!

The skate is a great value. Its low cut design is ideal for a more accomplished skater, but I bought it for a beginner. I purchased this skate as a replacement for a wrong sized skate I returned. It was the only skate I could find close to the price point I wanted.I have not seen anything in the department stores that approach the quality of these skates or the other two sets I purchase through Amazon. I would do this again with appropriate advance research, Great Buy.

The skates are nice and the lights are fun. The two front wheel lights stopped working the first time they were used. Roller Derby’s website has a place where you can order replacement parts & on it there is a description of how to fix the lights. It says to remove the bearings and plastic core that the magnet is on and clean them by wiping them off. My magnet was broken but I glued the pieces back to the core, put the core and bearings back in the wheel and it works. I also ordered extra wheels, bearings and magnets for spares.

These are really cool roller blades but my son struggles still so these are tough for beginners. The lights make him interested in them more. He does have big feet so too bad he has a rough time with them.

These skates are very cute. My 7 year old loves them. Unfortunately the wheels didn’t spin, we tried to loosen them but it just didn’t work so we sent them back. Got a second pair, same problem. I took them to a skateboard shop and they loosened the wheels for me (free of charge) and now the skates work great. They said that because the light up wheels need pressure to work the pieces (I don’t know if it’s the bearings or what) are on extra tight. They said they would loosen them and they will work but the wheels will not light up. Bummer but at least we can use the skates.

Like brand new and fit my son perfect true to size

Los patines son muy lindos y las ruedas externas prenden con el movimiento, mi único tema es que las agujetas al ser planas y de un tejido no muy apretado, al estar cerca del Velcro se pega constantemente lo que hace que el desgaste de la agujeta sea muy rápido; pienso que cambiar las agujetas puede ayudar.

Amazing product for the price. My son had roller skates previously but these are so smooth, a really solid skate. Definitely recommend.
