It's so good Amazon flagged me !
Edited version: works great, big bag that will take a while to use, remember that this is curing salt and not table salt so use and store accordingly

It’s a lot man. Like so much.
I didn’t really pay too much attention before ordering in how much curing salt I need. It’s like a teaspoon per 5 pounds of meat. This is a 2 pound bag. That means this big is good for curing 960 pounds of meat. That’s like a whole Oregon Trail’s worth of meat.Nothing wrong with it but if you’re just getting started curing stuff this might be an optimistic amount of salt to buy but it’s cheap, it works and it’s pretty!

Dyed Pink to distinguish it from table salt
Several people have reviewed this product and complained about it being dyed Pink. It is dyed Pink to distinguish it from table salt. Sodium Nitrite is poisonous if not used properly. Even small amounts of it are poisonous if ingested directly. Do nit eat any of it! If you follow it's usage directions properly, it is safe. I have this product and used it safely. This information was taken from Carole Cancler's Complete Dehydrator Cookbook pg 67.
