The longest lasting and most durable pocket notebook
By far my favorite notebook.I made the mistake of trying Field Notes because for this price, you get 3. Halfway through the notebook the pages start falling out. The covers are paper junk too. Then I tried off brand versions. Same exact thing. Then I tried moleskin. Moleskin was the worst of them all.So I switched to RITR's top spiral and fell in love. Then, I stumbled upon this beastly bad boy. There are TONS of pages. They are well constructed and tear out easily. If you chose to keep them in and cycle through pages, they do not rip! The outer construction of RITR products is also top notch and much more superior to Field Notes. The logo may fade, even in a notebook cover, but they hold up well. I use multiple different covers, and sometimes none at all. I bought 10 of these to last for a long time. So far, I have carried this one in rotation with my top spirals for about 3 months. Hence the wear you see in the pictures. Compared to EVERY other brand, the wear is minimal. These are by far the most durable notepads. I have been using the top spiral for about a year and a half now. If they made a bulk buy of these, I would get it.I highly recommend this product.

$5 notebook you can write on wet
The size is right for holding in one hand and writing. The eggshell sorta-grid college rule (very faint vertical lines) is fine for writing (it could go narrower in my opinion) but not so good as graph paper, as there aren't enough squares per page. The grey on black map scale/ruler/measurement conversions and back matter are perhaps useful, but are subdued enough to be tasteful decoration. I hadn't realized the pages are perforated, which makes this more a replacement for that 25 cent spiral notebook than a Moleskine Reporter, and I had also kind of thought that the cover would be more a board than cardstock - stay tuned for durability report. What I really want is a Moleskine Reporter with 5mm graph paper (not perforated) and Rite in the Rain paper, and would be happy to pay three times as much for it, but this will do for now. You'll feel ripped off (or should) if you pay more than $5 for it.

Does not work with all ballpoints
Tried using Parker and Uniball Jetstream ballpoints, on dry paper it skips a lot. Wanted it for EDC and the pages are perforated to remove easily. Reviews make it sound like it can handle more than what I would ever throw at it. Dont like how Fisher refills write and dont like pencils.

One Star Short of the Perfect Rite in the Rain
Been using Rite in the Rain products for decades. Very pleased to see them come out with this new model at same 3x5 size as military issue “Memoranda” notebooks, but made even better with perforated, detachable pages. This product will easily earn five stars when Rite in the Rain makes it in their larger 4x6 format.

Great for greasy handed mechanics
Gave as a gift to a greasy handed mechanic that always has to jot down new number parts throughout his shift. It works well and it’s small enough to fit in one of his pockets. I recommend buying the company’s retractable pen to go along with it.

I like that they come in colors
You can't go wrong with Rite in the Rain! I spend a lot of time outdoors, so durability in any field notebook is essential to me. The fact that these are waterproof, flexible, and incredibly durable makes these my #1 go-to notebook. I like that they come in colors, too, so I can separate my field notes and journals more easily.

Favorite RinR notebook
Favorite. The spiral kind annoy me and the ones that open horizontally are harder to write on. These fit in almost any pocket and don't get snagged because there's no metal spirals.

If you can't get anything else
I figured this would be similar to those waterproof stone paper tradie notebooks you can get from officeworks. Instead it's just a weirdly resistance paper. Ballpoint pen and pencil work okay, but anything else, like rollerball, gel pen, marker, or fountain pen never fully dries and smudges as soon as it's touched. Lucky I didn't spend a ton on the bigger ones.

Buen producto
