Meant for children aged 4 years and older, these knives are very similar in look to ceramic knives meant for adults. The handles used on this child's knife set are sized appropriately for children, being long and large enough for them to grip and hold them securely. The blades used on this knife set are all serrated, and are sharp enough to actually be able to cut (or saw) through some foods, yet remain dull enough that children will not accidentally cut themselves when learning how to use them.It is important to realize this set of children's knives are not a pretend play set of knives, but rather a true set of child safe knives. Getting your kiddo to help in the kitchen is an awesome way to involve them in the whole food preparing process, and supposedly it makes them more likely to taste what they've helped make. These knives have been awesome for my daughter, so I ended up gifting a set to my 4-year-old nephew. Highly recommend!

These are the best. My daughter loves them and I feel comfortable with her helping in the kitchen. I don't have to worry about cutting herself. These are good quality and durable, I've had them for over a year now and they work just as well as they did when we got them. Color is nice too. Easy to clean and cut better than I would expect.
