Mueller Hg80 Hinged Knee Brace (EA)

This has to be the most comfortable knee brace I have ever worn. While this brace will not work for everyone and will not help every type of knee problem, it works for me. I have arthritic knees and my right knee has been scoped 2x and will eventually need replacement surgery. I don't always have knee pain and more times than not, have very little knee pain. However, on the days that I need extra support, I reach for a brace. I have tried several and few offer comfortable support. My orthopedic doctor prescribed a knee brace that is neoprene and god only knows what else. It is uncomfortable in cold weather and unbearable in hot weather. However, this Mueller brace is cool and breathable, but supportive and non-binding. Like all medical appliances, this takes some getting used to, however, on the first day, I spent most of the time, going about my daily routine forgetting I was wearing the brace.

Sizing is totally off

Very comfortable, easy to put on. Excellent lateral support and compression, patella support just right. Breathable, allows close to natural range of movement. I have 2 other Mueller knee braces both wrap around which is great for limited hip movement when putting on but this model is substantially better. It's reasonably easy to put on by laying the brace on the ground and slide your foot as far in as possible. I have found that once I get the top of the brace to my ankle I can then easily pull the rest of the way up. I have osteoarthritis and my knee joint is highly unstable, clicks, grinds and is painful to static stand and subtle movement when sitting also results in shooting pain. This Mueller brace provides just the right amount of pressure to stabilise my knee, stops sitting pain. It is not a sports brace although would be ideal for recovery. Provides enough lateral stability to keep pain when walking with a stick to a minimum. It is comfortable to wear all day. I use the wrap around hinged knee brace if I am doing activities like walking on uneven surfaces, gardening and mowing the lawn. I highly recommend it, Amazon AU delivered the next day, on a Sunday. Increased support and immediate pain relief, light weight, cool and comfortable. Just get one but make sure you get the right size.

Gives a very full grip and is very comfy to wear, but it sometimes feels like it's slipping down. I have a complete acl tear and I am playing football without surgery
