Works extremely well. This is a great option as a first door bell camera. You can set it to lower motion activity. Talk to visitors, when your not home. Great for ignoring undesirable people at the door. Older people may need help, setting it up. Connects to wifi easily. It stores captures without s.d card but best to get 1. Clear vision at night. Well worth the money.

A great piece of kit. No subscription needed. Installed easily and the fields of vision can be altered to exclude tree branches etc. clip length and other motion detection parameters can also be managed very easily through the user-friendly app. The Sync Module takes the doorbell data and feeds into the app on my iPad, and the module will take a memory stick for greater and longer term storage. Much better than my previous doorbell camera. The app sticks a bit, and has to be rebooted occasionally but the picture is very clear, and loads within 5 seconds. Bought a camera also which shows images on the app equally quickly and clearly.

I had originally bought a cheaper Doorbell camera from Amazon but although I was pleased with the build and picture quality I could not get it to work correctly with Alexa and so returned it and purchased a more expensive Blink Video Doorbell. This was much easier to set up and worked with Alexa immediately. I basically just wanted a video doorbell that would alert me on multiple devices throughout the house and garage. I only have the standalone solution (no hub) which is fine for my needs. I can even get a picture from my FireTV stick when the doorbell is pressed when I say "Show Front Door".My criticisms would be that the image format is in landscape whereas portrait would be a better view if you merely want to see who is at the front door. There is a delay from when the doorbell is pressed to getting a notification on the phone or Alexa. No onboard storage option - you have to buy a hub.Apart from that, quite pleased so far.....
