These are not stainless steel, as listed! They all discolored and rusted within 24-48 hours. Even aluminum would have been better than this junk!

Buyer beware
Don't let the description fool you, these are definitely not stainless steel. They are fairly cheap quality and will likely rust in a couple of months. I'd look elsewhere. At a $1 each I give it two stars for price alone

Update from 10/2020:I use these for outdoor latches and they are in the elements without any protection, and the ones I recieved have not rusted, tarnished, chalked-up, or discored in any way after a few years. Perhaps the supplier got some bad stuff sent their way and some unlucky ppl got those? It seems to happen a lot with import stuff.Nice quality. Great for when you don't need a padlock, but still want to secure a latch. Marauding raccoon can't figure out how to open these, and I don't need to keep track of keys to secure the lid of my animal feeding system or the doors to my shed.

Very disappointed. This is very poor stainless steel. A magnet will not stick on good stainless. A magnet will actually pick up these. NOT WORTH THE MONEY SPENT!!!!
