I have been reading a lot about the huge health benefits of broccoli sprouts, and had watched a video on how easy they are to grow. This was a great unit to do it - just 2 or 3 tablespoons of seeds fills this entire jar in 4-5 days! They are so incredibly delicious and adorable to watch grow. It happens fast, it feels like they sprout “before your eyes”!

Everything you need accept the seeds. Make sure to watch one of the how to videos because it doesn’t come with any instructions. I am using it for organic sunflower sprouts for my cats. It’s easy!

It is a great product, but lid and screen need to be stainless steel.... lid as is rusts in two weeks...

Besides growing healthy sprouts, this product is great for straining liquid out of tea leaves/roots after letting them simmer for a while.

IMO this is the best sprouting kit. It sits nicely on my counter top. It's not big and bulky and it really works! In just four days I had sprouts!

I love the adjustable platform that the jar sits on. So glad it comes with an easy to use cleaning brush

or instructions. It's a jar with a screen lid, a dinky plastic tray, and a holder thingy. That's it. I have no idea what to do with any of it, because there were no seeds and no instructions. AVOID THIS ONE.

I've only used this item once so far and I like it. A bit of a learning curve with sprouting in a jar and this method with the screened jar is a game changer. The sprouts took a few days to appear as I didn't soak them properly the first time but once they started they took over the whole jar. My chickens loved the sprouts. My only complaint is the tray that catches the water isn't east to clean and got stained from the water drying on it.
