So I was on the fence whether I needed this or not. Well turns out I DID!!!!!! This thing is NICE! Seals really well. Keeps my freshly roasted coffee FRESH! Looks good. Easy to use. Satisfying sound when air is removed. Makes me feel important to scoop my coffee out in to my manual grinder! Easily holds a 16oz bag of whole beans.

This product is everything they claim it to be. It’s really easy to use and keeps your coffee fresh! Holds a whole bag of coffee + more no problem. I also got the spoon which may seem like an unnecessary tool but it fits right in the canister and really helps when using this. I totally recommend this product and the red looks great too! Love it and will probably get another one soon since I like it so much I think I could use more of these.

This item is simple in concept, yet extraordinarily efficient and effective in keeping coffee fresh. The can is made of lightweight metal with an attractive outer finish. There are two lids - one that is pushed down to the level of the coffee while emitting air through a center valve for an airtight seal and another that sits at the top of the can to create a clean and attractive countertop presentation. Personally, I prefer to keep my countertop clear, so store coffee beans in a bread drawer; happily, the medium unit fits perfectly. Also note that the online description of capacity is accurate; the medium size is required for a standard 12+ ounce bag of whole coffee beans. This is a terrific find which I highly recommend.

This Airscape canister was recommended to me by the production manager of a Kona coffee farm. The design is both incrediby simple and inventive. All you need to do is push down the gasket-ringed interior lid to force out air and lift it to release. It has an outer lid to keep out debris. It works so well that I wonder why I hadn't heard of it before. Considering that I pay a lot for top-notch whole beans, this Airscape is well-worth the cost.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

This canister has a real nice high-end solid feel to it. We got the black version and the finish is gorgeous, so much so we just leave it out on our counter all day. It has a large rubber seal on the bottom so it doesn't mark up your counters or move / slip around.Long story short decided to bite the bullet on this - even though it was kind of pricey - as we just tend to purchase the pre-ground up coffee in the bags (yeah probably should get a grinder some day) as it just speeds up things in the morning.We had been trying to fully squeeze the air out of the retail bag (typically starbucks) so the remaining coffee in the bag is mostly airtight and then we store it in the freezer - none of that seems to work very well - usually about half way through the bag the coffee would change to a bitter flavor and we'd end up throwing away 1/3 - 1/2 of the bag. 📏Haha after studying up - looks like the freezer way is not an ideal way - and there are probably other ways to store coffee better - but just letting you know about our process 🤷Held off on writing the review until we could verify that this airtight canister made a difference and it really has. The seal part has been easy to use (even easy enough for our teenagers to consistently do) and we've fully used a full bag of coffee without it going bitter...woo hoo! ☕Basically this canister has done exactly what we needed / wanted and am quite happy about it. Plus it looks so nice that we just leave it on the counter saving a trip to the freezer...one less thing to do in the morning and I still get my coffee - well you have sold me on that! 😁Haha it may take several full bags of coffee before we make up for the price - but this is just easier to use - it looks nice - and we bought the spoon that fits perfectly inside on top of the seal so no longer trying to find a clean spoon / scoop (another small headache solved)...so this really just works for us.Did NOT get paid or receive anything free for this review. Really just like the product and think it was well worth the few (several) bucks we threw at it, especially when combined with the compact scoop (have reviewed it too) 🙂

Bought matcha powder in bulk and needed a large container to keep it fresh and easily accessible daily. Works great and matcha has been fresh, but sometimes when you press down to seal, it sucks out some of the powder and shoots it out of the vent at the top. Makes sense why it happens but it's a shame when the pricey powder gets shot out of the container like that sometimes.

We have a vintage Rancilio single piston type espresso machine, so we are serious about coffee. These Airscape medium size containers are PERFECT for whole bean coffee storage for a lb. We have 2 (one bronze and one black) for regular and decaf. Coffee is stored airtight and stays fresh.

I use these for tea and tisanes.Pros1. Easy to clean.2. Easy to use.3. Look good.4. Good quality.5. Stacks well.6. Keeps my herbs fresh.Cons1. Same as any type vacuum seal for tea. You have to be careful with loose leaf tea so you don't crush the leaves. These make it easy, but if you just crammed the lid down your leaves would have a bad day and be crushed.2. I have one of these with a bamboo lid and the lid had a piece break off. No quality issues with anything else.3. If you want a good seal and to be able to put the outer lid on, you need to keep ingredients about 1.5-2 inches below top.

Been fussy trying to find a way to keep coffee beans as fresh as possible to ensure an excellent cup of coffee every time so turned to Amazon as reviews are really essential. Although this piece is pricey, not having to chuck out beans would pay for itself. I buy beans from a local shop so they are fresh made and after getting a fresh bag and popping them into the container you could quickly see the results. Next morning when opening the tin the great smell of fresh coffee hits you and the beans were covered in oil meaning it had not dissipated into the air. You get a great cup of coffee every time. Very pleased with this purchase as container is well made and the design is impressive to ensure an airtight seal. You also get the bonus of a clear cover for the top as well. Since I like to get fresh beans as much as possible went with the l lb size vs 2 lbs which fits nicely on the counter. Definitely will look into other containers made by this company for other uses.
