Great Product. Great Customer Service
Purchased six of these for my new plunge pool/spa and appreciate the ease of use. They certainly do help to keep the water warm. One ring would not hold air (I think it was a faulty valve) and the company sent me a replacement within days of my contacting them. Hoping they will last me all summer!

Waste of over $248 regretfully bought 2 packages)
Very hard to inflate and lay flat on the water after closely following instructions. The mats are quickly becoming deflated on their own and already looking very sun faded and unsightly in a short time I’ve use, doubt they will even make it through one summer season. They also grow slimy green algae around the rings that end up falling off and sinks in the pool water. Made zero noticeable difference to the water temperature and frustratingly that was the whole purpose of them. They are a big disappointing inconvenience and waste of money, sadly ready to throw them in the trash

Helps greatly with Heating
I have a lot of experience with these. The first set worked well until a house guest left them in the sun. Do not do that as the disks magnify heat when exposed to sunlight and if left unprotected will damage, or destroy, any discs below them. When left in the sun, we leave a tarp over them to prevent a repeat. We live in the Southern California area. We wanted to use the pool some in late december / early January for lessons for the grandchildren. After heating the pool to 87 degrees on Wednesday for a lesson, I left the heater off all of Wednesday night and Thursday. Temperatures were a max in the low sixties diring the day and low 50s at night with rain. I was shocked Thursday evening to discover the pool water temperature was still 80 degrees! I tried different thermometers, including the one in the pool heater. The results were all 80 degrees. That is amazing! The down sides are that these are a major pain to inflate, a pain to take out of the pool, and a nuisance to save out of the sun. Nevertheless, they do a very good job! I highly recommend them. The nuisances are more than made up for by the tremendous advantages.

Size chart is way off
The size chart is off for ordering. I have a 24’ round pool so I ordered to the chart which was 14 rings. I still need at least 4 more rings to cover the pool. If you look at the chart the difference between a 21’ round pool and a 24’ round pool is 3’ and is only showing a 2 ring difference, but the difference between a 24’ round pool and a 27’ round pool is still only 3’ but a difference of 6 rings. We will see how they work before ordering more the price on these things is crazy. Hope I didn’t make a mistake.

They definitely help to warm the water.
These really do work to warm the pool, it may not be a drastic difference but there is a difference. They are far easier to deal with than a pool size cover and work just as good. The reviewers that show them bent or wrinkled didn't follow the inflation directions. If they do get like that it is easily corrected by letting a little air out of that section.

Don’t get your hopes up…
I was really very optimistic after reading so many positive reviews. And as a prologue, I’m quite handy and creative.First, blowing them up wasn’t super easy… but my son and I managed to unpack them and do it within 20-30 mins (6 of them total). We followed the directions and didn’t overfill the center portion. We were rewarded with nice flat circles that didn’t have any deformations. But we did have to deflate the center of our first practice circle to get the perfect shape.I was nervous about relying on only magnets to connect them… it seems a bit flimsy of a connection. But I anchored two using the ring and some rope I had to connect to some patio furniture. The rest were connected via magnets. Within 2hrs, two of the rings had blown away / out of the pool with a medium-heavy gust of wind. As I suspected, the magnets were too whimpy.Try #2 entailed anchoring 2 solar rings with each rope I had (3 together was not possible based on pool area etc)… so 4 total rings in the pool. Within 2 days, 2/4 of the remaining rings were deflated. At this point, I’ve definitely lost hope.Try #3 involves refilling the 2/4. This is where we’re at for ~$200. I don’t think I’ll make back the cost of these in energy savings at this point. Bummer. Save your money and use the liquid stuff… that’s what I’ll try next.

Product is good, but Four Seasons Pool Supply Made this Review
The products worked as expected. Best I can tell they raised the pool temperature a few degress, which was exactly what we needed. There was a slight defect in one of the pool rings and Four Seasons made it right, and the process was very Simple.

They do not help heat the pool at all
I bought six of these and did not feel any difference in water temperature. In fact, just when I bought them, it started to get cool and night and the pool water got really cold. I bought six more, to cover the 80% of the pool that is recommended and still found that they did not help. I am going to return the six I am still eligible to return. But I am quite disappointed. One thing they do is catch some of the dust and leaves that might otherwise blow into the pool. But I would not have paid so much money for that! They are quite easy to use, and appealing for that reason. (I did not want to have to pull a plastic cover the whole way over the pool all the time)
