Fits my Desktop+Phone use-case perfectly
There are two things that I didn't see mentioned in the product description that are good to know: -When powered on, it maintains an active Bluetooth connection, even when using 2.4 -Like a lot of Razer's revenge Bluetooth audio devices, this has a low-latency gaming mode. Discovered this in the user manual. I'll start off by saying that getting this device it's initial update was a huge hassle, but things have been smooth sailing since. Just try to follow the updater's directions as precisely as possible, it should work. The build quality is the weakest point as the exterior is primarily plastic. This is overshadowed by comfort, however, and the cushions feel soft and light. If you're looking for audio fidelity, I really hope you know you're in the wrong place. While I wouldn't say the fidelity is bad, I wouldn't say that's where these excel. Instead, features and function are what these do best. The directional audio is done very well, while the audio modes (ANC and Ambient) do what they say very well. I have 5 cats that tend to get into nonsense, and the ambient mode has allowed me to pay them proper attention while gaming. On the off chance I can zone in, the ANC completely cuts out fan noises and even most of whatever my partner is watching. Switching is simple and the headphones tell you what you just switched to. I almost wish I could completely skip ANC off since I never use it. The most surprising thing about these is how perfectly they fit my lifestyle. I don't always want to be at my desk to game, so I stream to my phone (bonus points for using Razer Kishi). The fact that I can just double tap the mode button and I'm now listening to my phone is awesome. No need to wait for pairing, and I've yet to have any connection issues. Mix in the gaming mode and suddenly these are the only headphones I use, period. Tl;dr: these headphones are all about the features, so make sure that's what is driving your choice before buying these. The features are extremely good, while the audio and build quality can feel middling.

Amazing headphones!
So, this review was made a while ago, like 3 months into using them. After I made the review, they started to crack around the hinges, and eventually the left headphone broke off at the hinge, and was hanging by a cord. Luckily, I got them replaced (good warranty), however, the replacement pair also broke in the same exact way. I'm not particularly rough with my headphones, and these are the only pair I've ever had this issue with. So, long story short, don't buy these. These headphones are overall amazing! I'll cut right to the chase with my favorite things about them. The smartswitch feature, where you can connect to two devices at once, is awesome! I love how even if you're connected to your PC with the USB-C dongle, if your phone gets a call you hear your ringtone. On the topic of smartswitch, I love how this works on gaming as well as with music. The synapse software is great because I like pumping up the bass when I listen to music, and I can do that with the software. On my phone, the Razer Audio app is also great for this. The headphones have pretty great bass that you can really feel. These headphones are also very comfortable. The earpads are very soft, and the headband is too. And the battery life is awesome. I can go days without having to give these a charge, and they seem to charge pretty fast. On that note, I'll move on to what's not so great about these. The case is huge. Since these headphones don't fold, they have to lay flat in the case, which makes for a huge case. The case is hard to fit in my backpack for when I want to take these to school, so I usually just settle for my earbuds, even though I'd love to take my headphones. Also, the headphones may be comfortable, but after a while, I've noticed them starting to hurt my ears, especially when they move or I take them off. It's not pleasant. But after a while of having them, I don't notice that as much. And yes, the bass is great - I can really feel it - but it kind of distorts the vocals in my music. It just makes it sound a bit staticky. And for my final con, I don't like how if I wear a hoodie, coat, or I'm just lying down, the volume wheel gets caught and my volume gets turned up or down. Now, in all, I believe the pros really outweigh the cons. The case may be huge, but I don't really use it that much. My ears don't hurt anymore. I can get used to the volume slider issue. My biggest issue is just the vocal distortion when the bass is up. If you're looking for a headset that you can game with and just use casually, this is the one to go for.

This is one of the best headphones out there from Razer. It's comparable to the bose qc35 and the active noise cancellation is also surprisingly good. I played a YouTube video at full volume on my mobile phone while using my computer and surprisingly, it managed to cut off almost all the sound. The audio quality is also great with a custom equaliser setting and thx spatial. The size is right for my head and it's also very comfortable, the clamping force is just adequate. I usually use this with the 2.4 Ghz dongle so can't comment much on the bluetooth connectivity. If you prioritise audio quality along with noise cancellation and want something for gaming, then go for this. You won't be disappointed.

Setting them up took a little, but once I started using them, honestly really damn good. ANC's perfect, since I live near a highway, it blocks out cars like a charm. Sound quality wise, I have no complaints. I do see how the cups might be a bit too restrictive and make your ears sweat, but I don't mind that if it means I get the best ANC and sound quality possible. Overall, a really solid pair of headphones.

After purchasing the Razer Barracuda Pro headphones, I was initially excited to use them as my all-around go-to-headset (office meetings, music, etc). Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Firstly, the microphone reliability is a significant concern. During Teams office meetings, the microphone would unexpectedly stop working, leaving my coworkers unable to hear me until I reset the headphones by turning them off and back on. This lack of reliability is a major drawback for anyone needing consistent office/Teams communication. Additionally, I frequently experienced a static sound, similar to static electricity, which was both annoying and disruptive to my listening experience. This issue persisted despite troubleshooting efforts, indicating a potential design flaw or quality control issue. I also didn't like the way it connected/disconnected from my devices. Unlike most modern headphones that allow seamless switching between devices by simply selecting the new device in Bluetooth settings, the Barracuda Pro requires a cumbersome process of disconnecting from the current device before connecting to another. This lack of convenience is a step backward in user experience. (I have several computers and a phone and want to be able to quickly connect.) Most troubling, however, is the lack of support from Razer customer service. After reaching out regarding the static noise and microphone issues, I was informed that my product was defective. Despite this acknowledgment, they refused to offer any resolution because the headphones were purchased through Amazon.ca. This response was not only unhelpful but also left me feeling abandoned by Razer, especially with the mention that purchasing from Amazon could invalidate warranty coverage. In conclusion, my experience with the Razer Barracuda Pro headphones has been deeply disappointing. From technical issues to unsatisfactory customer service, the drawbacks have significantly outweighed the benefits. I would advise potential buyers to consider these factors carefully before making a purchase, as the lack of reliable support and product reliability could lead to frustration and regret.
