Looked for a nursery bookcase for a long time. Wasn’t happy with any. This matched our Delta furniture very nicely, not perfectly but they look great together. I was surprised how well this is done. If you’re buying furniture today, you expect cheap and poor constructed no matter how much you spend. Everything inside the box was undamaged. Putting it together proved to be a good experience because it wasn’t crap that fell apart immediately. The backing used screws, not nails and wasn’t flimsy cardboard. Fit more than I expected so I didn’t need additional storage. Perfectly sits beneath the windowsill and doesn’t flop around, firmly constructed and color is pretty. May add bins in the future for easier storage but for now it works on its own.

i bought this for my son who had those little kid bedroom sets, so his bookcase was like the tent bookcase. we upgraded to an actual one- much better. he’ll be able to fit a long more books, and it’s sturdy. took 20 mins to assemble and instructions were straight forward.

I give it 4 stars since it does what it says. The advertising is on point and it doesn't claim to be anything it isn't. It is a child's bookshelf. It is pressboard with a flimsy panel backing. Nothing special. It holds the books we put on it and doesn't bow or anything. As long as you put normal children's books on it, it should last a long time. If you try to put the Encyclopedia Britannica on it, it will most likely cave in. It did have a funky "chemical" smell out of the box, but that went away after a few days.

Looks exactly like the picture and was easy to put together. This is coming from someone who is not handy at all. Perfect if you have a smaller room and want a bookshelf or even a display shelf. Would recommend.

The item itself looks good and is solid. easy to put together, so no complaints there. The issue - ESPECIALLY for a “kids bookcase” is the chemical smell of this product. It’s noxious and extremely strong. After assembly we had to move it to the garage and air out the nursery. 12 hours later a faint smell remains (book case is still in garage). This is absurd for ANY product, much less a kids item. If the case itself does not dissipate the smell in the next 12-24 hours we will return (or burn!). No way is this odor normal or safe. Recommend a different item.

I love it for my toddlers room. Perfect height for her and the details on the side are very nice and not so bland as some others for this price. My husband put it together and accidentally put the back board on backwards so the yellow sticker is visible from the front but oh well, eventually one of us will turn it around. It’s very sturdy too. Overall, we’re very happy with this shelf. There was no damage during delivery like some of the other furniture I’ve ordered online which was a very pleasant surprise.

Easy to follow assembly directions, both in words and pictures. All the required dowels, screws, etc. came in separate tiny zip lock bags, numbered to match the instructions. The finish was perfect on all pieces and it looks nice assembled. My only complaint was that it was hard to assemble without help. I found myself bracing one side against a wall so it wouldn't fall over while I was trying to attach the shelf. All in all, a good purchase and it does the job I bought it for. Surprise one-day delivery, too.

Decent bookcase. Purchased it to store board games of various sizes. It holds the boxes good without them sticking out. Few things to point out. First, I would not recommend this furniture to be used near active babies/toddlers. A screw to hold safety bracket on backside of the bookcase is very short (M2.5 x 14mm). As soon as I fastened the plastic lock strap to connect with the bracket on the wall, the bracket on the bookcase side came off. If you have small children who might hold on to the bookcase to stand up, this is a big safety hazard. I cannot imagine this small bracket holding the weight of this furniture. In the worst case, the whole bookcase might fall onto a child. Another thing is the decor board that you attach to the bottom of the bookcase. The middle part of the board is not secured well and it is wobbly. But this is a non-functional board so it is a minor flaw. Overall, it is a sturdy furniture for the price. It works good for the purpose I bought it for.

We bought this to put all our board games on. We are very happy with the size/quality for the price.

Very pleased with assembly instructions and quality of the bookcase. Instructions have words, not just pictures. I am using it as a bookshelf and recycle center (with the River Ridge boxes) for my kitchen. It looks great.

I unfortunately don’t have time to disassemble it because I need it but I am really not happy with the product. It looks cheap and flimsy, not what I was expecting and for the money I paid.

Pretty good quality, easy to assemble. Two shelves come scratched even packaging came untouched fortunately the scratches are on the spots you cannot see.
