I own a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500LT extended cab. These were the perfect product to not only enhance the look of my truck, but also provide some much needed flexibility to my window usage!The product was shipped in a less than stellar manner, but no damages were present when unboxed. The pack comes with the vent shades for all 4 windows as well as alcohols swabs to prep the surface of your vehicle.There were no instructions for install, so I had to find an instruction video on YouTube to ensure I was doing it correctly. Installation is about as simple as it gets and once I was confident with the process, it was a breeze! (It is suggested you install at or near room temperature…67-78 degrees F).The fit is about as close to perfect as you can get with an after market product such as this. As long as you take the time to align the components you’ll be pleased with the results. The provided adhesion seems to have taken hold at an exceptional level and I don’t expect to have any stability issues going forward.My wife and I had a small road trip of about 3 hours drive time round trip + some city driving. The vent shades performed well! Their ability to reduce wind noise was impressive and the adhesion didn’t falter once.

When I first got my truck in 2001 I installed a set of AVS vent shades. The truck sat outside in the sun and weather. They lot a little brittle over time but still functioned. I got my truck stuck in a mud hole while off-road, and when I leaned against one it broke. I had to but a complete set to replace one. I like them. I can have the window open a little when it rains. I would buy a set for every vehicle I own.

There are cheaper rain guards avaliable but seems like the fit isn't as nice, the tape certainly is smaller. AVS for the win.

I have bought these in the past and they were good, this set I bought I had to take a razor blade to the outside of 2 of them to trim the jagged sharp edges from not being cleaned up after they were made, I also had to peel a piece of 3m tape off the outside that was randomly stuck there. I should also mention the tape to mount them was not place well and was overlapping in one spot, I also had to cut the tape at the corners because it was not trimmed to size of the visor. The tape on the extended cab visor is 3 pieces that were poorly placed. The visors also had small scuffs on them.

I've been buying AVS vent shades for every vehicle I own. It keeps rain from dripping in the window while driving down the road and in the summer it keeps your vehicle ventilated.

Boyfriend said was easy to install. I love the way the look on my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. Functionality is good, too. Can have the window cracked without getting rained on!
