Easy to replace and worked like a charm

I had a head on my portable dual-tube AC unit, which I install on the dog porch in hot weather. My young Brittany decided he likes the chewiness of electrical cords and decided the GFCI plug on the AC looked tempting. This was a perfect replacement. It's the correct size, provides safety if chewed thru, and work perfectly. I cut the ends off a hose and slipped it over the thick cord before installing as instructed... an easy job. Of course I also bought an "outdoor" recepticle cover to protect if from future chewing. The pup tried to chew that plastic box, so duct tape to the rescue... then dribbled it with bitter orange scent oil. That last did the final trick.

I used the OAONAN GFCI Replacement Plug to replace the GFCI on my portable hot tub’s water pump/heater air pump, and the installation was quick and straightforward. I’m not sure what gauge wire this plug is designed for, but the wiring on my unit was thicker, so I couldn’t use the included boot and had to be a bit cautious when tightening the wire clamp inside the cover.
