After fiddling with this laser and unscrewing the lens housing and putting it back together, the dot is now fine. Visible during the day as far away as halfway down the street - possibly farther but I have not tested any more than that.Original review:Pro: The beam (not just the dot) is visible at night - this is exactly what I wantedCons: The dot is blurry - at a range of 20 feet, the dot is oblong and about 3 inches across. Nevermind trying to get a tight dot farther. The dot is not visible in daylight like one would normally expect from a green 'laser' - possibly due to brightness possibly due to how the lens is focused.

This magnet is so weak I can push it off with two fingers. I have used Neodymium for years for experiments.attached magnet to a metal plate and moved the magnet with two fingers.

For the price your paying, it’s definitely a bang for your buck good laser. The battery life last for a pretty long time it’s compact would recommend if your looking to just flex on your friends. Just be wary you don’t want to point it at someone’s for ever!!

Good beam, holds charge. Overall I recommend for construction use.
