10" Scalloped Bread Knife

Slices bread light butter. Very light knife.
I like that this knife cuts very well, very sharp out of the box. It cuts through bread excellently, I can't imagine a cleaner cut. I appreciate that it is made in the USA and I like the wood handle. It is a bit light in the hand, which is probably good for bread as it won't contribute to crushing bread. It certainly won't fatigue you. Only non positive notes is the 3/4 tang is ever so slightly above the handle towards the back and can rub on your hand, not really a problem only a slight annoyance. The brass rivets on the left side also sit little proud of the handle. Very minor imperfections, but why I gave only 4 stars. It is a cheap, no nonsense knife that cuts very well that is made in the USA.

Best Designed Bread Knife
I saw this knife being used by a local chef at a home show. It’s basically a (serrated) bread knife, but instead of being straight, it is curved (think of a stretched out u). This design lets you cut slices all the way down - no more having to go back to cut through the bottom crust😊

Great knife for slicing bread!
This knife slices crusty bread easily without crushing it. Love it!

Excellent knife, perfect for real bread
Great knife, especially if you bake naturally leavened bread. One reviewer complained about the sharp tip at the end- yes, it is sharp. It's a great feature and essential in a bread knife as this sharp tip can do the heavy work cutting slices free from a toothy crust. Worth it. Would buy again.

Great knife
I bought this for my mother. She saw it at a bread store and had to have it. They gave her the product number because it is not sold in stores and she had me look it up. She loves it. High quality and it had fairly fast shipping. I have been babied with the 2 day prime, but even without that, this one showed up in less than a week. Great.

We use it to cut our challah every week - a bread that is very soft and crumbles easily with less wonderful knives
My father bought this for us as a wedding gift 6 years ago. We use it to cut our challah every week - a bread that is very soft and crumbles easily with less wonderful knives. We ended up regifting a silver one that wasn't nearly as good. Perfect for bagels and crusty bread too. (And tomatoes, actually). HIGHLY recommend it. Online now to buy it as a gift for my father in law who misplaced his (lame) silver one. I'll have to pain the handle for him. ;)
