Seems to be well made, with decent density and cushion. Good for stability balance exercises. Color makes it easy to spot in the corner of the room 😁

I got this for physical therapy. It's nice, firm foam. It holds my weight when I stand on it, and I'm large. So, not for any purpose that wants soft foam.I'm not sure what else you would use it for, but for my purposes it's great.

I'm working on balance in Physical Therapy right now, so I decided to get one of these for home so I could do a few more exercises between visits. I ordered the large, but it's considerably smaller than the one the pros use in therapy. One exercise is heel to toe standing, and I have to use it diagonally to fit both feet on it. However, they do fit that way and it's unstable enough to still give me trouble, so I can't complain. It works.Other exercises with weight bands pulling you, require you to land on the pad and balance, and there's certainly plenty of room for that. So while it seems a little small to me, it's actually large enough for what I need, and will probably work for most people.Side issue. I have a small fitness room in my house and I put down a rubber floor. It seems firm enough but that extra padding beneath this "instability cushion" makes it slightly less stable, i.e., makes the exercises a tad harder than when it's on a solid floor. That's fine in my case, but you might consider what you plan to put this on, like a wood or tile floor, versus a rug and pad.The advantage to being a little smaller is that it stores better and is lighter to move around. Recommended!

I've only used this a few times, not because I don't like it. The problem is that when I'm ready to work on my balance, my cat is usually sitting or curled up on this. It's good for balance work, of course (recommended by my PT person) and also as a cat seat, should you need one.

Using pad for home exercise. Good density and well constructured - same quality as pads at Physical Therapyfacility. Should last a long time.

Nice mat to practice balance. Price is decent too. It gives some support but still teaches me to balance.

I went to balance physical therapy because of inner ear issues. They used a mat very much like this one for me to do some of the exercises on. It is great for improving stability and core strength. It came with a leaflet that had exercises to do using the mat. I will try some of those as well as doing the ones from PT.

Purchased the larger size with plenty of standing room. The mat is firm and a pretty pink color, and it appears to be good quality and made to last.

I've had this for some years now and I can say it is still in good shape, very sturdy, love the color, and the worth the money spent!I utilize this pad for additional cushion for when I hipthrust heavy, and if I want to plank with a slight elevation when on my forearms. Several uses :) Highly recommend having in all gyms!!
