This TV is great for our backyard. This isn't the brightest model they offer but since our deck is mostly in the shade we can now enjoy streaming movies and shows outside. Speakers aren't that great but bluetooth allows you to connect to external device such as receiver or a soundbar for better sound. It is completely enclosed and weatherproofed which makes it a bit heavy so keep that in mind when choosing the bracket. Set up was easy. Connected to my WiFi w/o any issues. Comes with a standard IR remote but you can order bluetooth one separately in case you want to control from further away.

After a couple of weeks my TV turned on but didn't display any picture. The TV probably got knocked around during shipping and finally gave out shortly after setup. I did purchase an extra warranty through Amazon just in case! I went straight to Sylvox instead of Amazon just so they could be aware of the issue. They corresponded swiftly and I had a replacement within 2 weeks. They also provided a return label and I reused the box the new one came in.The TV uses Android/Google TV so all of the apps we currently use in the house are available. At one point, one app wouldn't download "app not available for current version of your software" or something similar. Just restart the TV and try again that seemed to fix it.The remote works well and was easy to connect via the initial TV setup menu. The TV menus are responsive and snappy. Bluetooth and wifi setup were both seamless. You can also connect it to a BT speaker, but keeping it connected all the times seems tricky. It's probably a fight between the BT speaker and the TV and a few other devices as well.The box also comes with a variety of mounting bolts if needed. A wall mount is NOT included. However, the mount you buy separately will also come with some bolts.The TV's enclosure is solid and quiet. The original TV I bought on Amazon had a loud fan noise, but this replacement unit directly from Sylvox is completely quiet. They said they had updated the design and removed the fan noise entirely, GOOD MOVE.My original purchase from Amazon didn't have any physical buttons (that I could find) to operate the TV. This replacement from Sylvox has a set of buttons on the side in case you cannot use the remote.The audio leaves a bit to be desired, but I find the MEDIA setting to have a good balance between speech and base. More often than not, you will use your own independent speaker, but it's not horrible otherwise. Keep in mind that the sounds is enclosed in the case so don't expect living room quality.Overall, we like the vividness of the display mid day sun on our pool deck. The warranty process was a breeze.

Sylvox is a great product! I’m currently on my second outdoor full sun pool series tv. No competitors can compete with Sylvox especially in price. I’ve left it out in some rain storms and its durability is second to none. My first tv had a small issue with in warranty but customer service was amazing. On top of the situation, responded daily to consecutive back and forth emails. (Sunny was great!) I will purchase this product again when in need for an upgrade.

For the price, you would love to believe you are buying a great working product. My Sylvox 55” Deck Series came packaged well, remote setup was easy and seamless.However there are a few things, that you think the folks would have seen as glaring issues before releasing this product (unless they are so evil that they only want you to purchase their $700 sound bar and their overpriced mounting hardware).First the bar spacing for the back mounting. The mounting holes are inconveniently 24” apart. I bought a mounting kit for outdoor mounting on uneven surfaces, and low and behold that 24” gap prevented it from being hung on the bracket bars.THE SOUND is horrible! For the price, this should be no issue, there are plenty of outdoor speakers that are waterproof that sound great, heck, my iPhone has some waterproofing and it doesn’t sound like this. The audio sounds like it’s being played out of a coffee can. The fact that it sounds so horrible seems intentional. When I purchased the TV I figured if it was an issue that I could connect my Bluetooth speaker (since the TV has Bluetooth). Can you? NOPE! It appears the TV deliberately doesn’t pickup BT Speaker signals. Do you need the $700 Sylvox speaker? No, you can use any audio speaker with the headphone jack, but, this is 2024, not 2004. I cannot imagine, being the CEO or even the Quality Assurance team at Sylvox and being okay with releasing such a poorly sounding product.Yellow Tinted Screen Edges: When playing at night time, you can very much see yellow/green tinting around the edges of the entire screen when the scene is dark. It makes it appear cheap and poorly made.I’m so much invested in this TV now, that returning it would be such a headache. But had I known what I know now, I would have never ordered it. It may be waterproof but at the expense of super unusable sound and poor image quality, I should have just gotten an indoor tv mounted to a cart that I could wheel inside when the weather got bad.

We purchased this outdoor Tv for our new deck and splurged for waterproof tv by Sylvox as the reviews were great. We’ve enjoyed it and impressed with the tv as was everyone who visits. We enjoyed it for only 4 months when we experienced winds of over 60 mph. We turned the tv on the next morning and there were lines going through the left hand of the screen. We were devastated because we’d splurged on the tv and wasn’t sure it would be covered under the warranty. After sending photos they sent us a new tv! The customer service has been amazing and we’re now enjoying their newest model! I can’t say enough about the quality of the tv, backed by incredible customer service! I highly recommend this tv and this company!
