I played with the puzzle with my 4-year-old granddaughter, and she created so many different things to do with the pieces, such as sort by color or find all the shapes that look like letters. We never were able to get all of the pieces on the board, but that didn't bother either of us. It was more fun to just play at it. --- For those who want to complete the puzzle, a picture of solutions is included.

I was surprised that the puzzle quality was smaller and thinner, than it appeared online. I was expecting something a bit more sturdy. This is still a great item for kids 4+ years; all the way up to adults, though. I would recommend supervising younger children, however. There are a few pieces that could get stuck in their mouth. Other than that; it is easy to use and a super fun puzzle for all ages! Plus it is small enough to fit in a laptop bag, or back pack. Even a kids sized bag.

Although my kiddo is in upper elementary, he really liked this. He challenges himself to do different games with it: make a quilt pattern and have all the pieces fit, make different shapes (tangram style), how quickly he can get all the pieces to fit back in. It's light weight and not huge, so it's a great little break from homework. Overall I like this and it is a nice value for the price. HOWEVER, NEVER should there be an image of a gun for kids to recreate with shapes (as there was suggested on the back of the packaging)--there is too much gun violence and gun violence involving children that offering kids to make a gun shape for fun sends the message that guns can be toys--this messaging should never be sent.

My 8 year old picked this puzzle out. He loved it and spent hours working on the different design options.

I bought two, one for each of our boys because they don't share very well. They love creating various designs with these blocks, but my older son appreciates the challenge of this puzzle.

Now my autistic nephew plays with this thing for hours every day. This was the cheapest Xbox I’ve ever bought.

It’s very thin and cheaply put together. Not like pictured where the pieces and board look thick.The pieces slide around and are hard to keep in place to add more pieces. Tends to just frustrate any of the kids under 5 years old. As an adult I even have a hard time keeping the pieces still to add in others, you have to sorta work 2 handed with this. For the price it’s ok though.
