Worked on an older device that I needed a longer cable for. Also purchased some gender changing adapters for the same device. All worked flawlessly.

I used this in conjunction with Norton Commander for DOS to back up data from a vintage PC that didn't have a working disk drive. It worked great and got me out of a pinch!

I bought this so one PC-based device could control another via serial port (yup, welcome to the 1990's!). It worked for this low-tech application. By my measurement here is the pin wiring. Pins 1, 5, and 9 are wired straight through. Pin 6 is open circuit. Pins 2 and 3 are cross-wired, as are pins 7 and 8. Who knows why the seller description blabs on and on about HDMI and display port. This cable has nothing to do with video!

Does the job just fine. Decent quality, gave it some abuse and it didn't fall apart or break, so can't complain.

Necesitaba un cable serie (parece mentira que hoy en dia, todavia se necesiten cables de comunicaciones RS232) para la instalación de unos equipos y lo compré esperando que fuera un objeto con una calidad justa pero nada mas de mi opinión inicial. Me encontré un objeto muy bien terminado y de calidad (ya habia probado otros cables de 3metros de longitud y daban problemas a menos velocidad - lo tenia que usar a 115200bps, 8,1,N). Voalvería a comprar otro en caso de ser necesario? Sin duda.

Yamahaのルーター設定のためにクロスケーブルが必要だったので購入。 昔はモデムの設定をしたりとRS-232cは必須のケーブルだったのだけど、今はもうパソコン側にもRS-232C端子が付いていないぐらい無くなってしまった。 どこかにあったはずなのだがアナログ回線の終了と共に処分してしまったのかもしれない。 しかし、現代では注文すれば翌日に到着なので非常に便利。おかげでルーターの設定もできました。
