Worked like a Charm!
This cable worked awesome to connect Digi SP One from car wash Server to a remote Digi for communication. Tried different same type cables and did not work!

Correct null modem cable, but not fully wired.
I bought this so one PC-based device could control another via serial port (yup, welcome to the 1990's!). It worked for this low-tech application. By my measurement here is the pin wiring. Pins 1, 5, and 9 are wired straight through. Pin 6 is open circuit. Pins 2 and 3 are cross-wired, as are pins 7 and 8. Who knows why the seller description blabs on and on about HDMI and display port. This cable has nothing to do with video!

Great cable, saved my bacon!
I used this in conjunction with Norton Commander for DOS to back up data from a vintage PC that didn't have a working disk drive. It worked great and got me out of a pinch!

old computers are so cool man this cable was just one part of my stupidly elaborate system to get an old Wyse Winterm connected to my modern pc via sshing into it with a computer that has serial and it worked
