These lights are great. Easy to use and hang. I used zip ties to hang them on my horse’s corral so I have some light at night. They’re not bright enough to disturb the horse’s sleep but enough that I can see him. It’s like having a full moon. Better than a motion sensor solar light that constantly startles him. They seem quite durable and since they’re encased in a thick plastic tube I’m not really worried about him pulling them off the roof and eating them like the other solar lights with bulbs that hang off a string (and might be a tempting midnight snack). Not sure how long they’ll last or how long they stay on at night but they come on right at dusk and look pretty. I set them to the constant ‘ON’ and they have stayed on that setting reliability. I charged them for a day in full light. Put them in the shed for a day. Then hung them up outside and they seem to be at full illumination. I’m in S. CA so we get a good amount of sunshine in the winter. I like that the people at the barn in the evening can see my horse enough from a distance to notice if something is wrong with him and call me. Overall I’m happy. I only used one string of lights and it seems bright enough.

Not exactly as pictured! I bought this item over any other brand for two reasons. One was the ability to mount to a flat surface rather than a stake in the ground. The mounting disk is no bigger than a silver dollar but looks like it will work fine. I plan to mount the solar panel on the roof of the north facing screen porch I want the lighting for. It should get enough sun up there year round and the deck screen porch roof can be reached from the deck with a step ladder ( or broom for snow removal in winter). The other reason I chose this brand is that the picture clearly shows a little black connector clip at the end of the lead wire coming from the solar panel. I assumed I could feed this through a small gap in the facia and plug that connector to the end of the light rope on the inside. Unlike the picture the product is one continuous piece which means I have to drill a much larger hole and feed all 33' of rope plus the lead wire through it. Not a deal breaker but annoying, especially since I planned to purchase more units if the first one worked out. I may love the product after I install it but I hate when my planning centers on a misleading product image.

So, after only a few days of use, these are exceeding expectations. After a good day of sun, the lights are still pulsating in the 6 a.m. dark. We did have one single digits night when they failed to come on, but we also had some nearby exterior lighting on that may have thrown for the light sensor. I’m giving 4 stars since I can’t say how this will hold up. It seems well made.My suggestions for improving this product: 30’ doesn’t cover much tree or other outdoor space. It would be great if this system were more modular with a larger solar collector and battery pack, and the ability to chain multiple strings of lights!

Good quality lights and brilliance. Big difference from a IP55 Cool White 6000K v. 3000K brilliance or brightness. These are like looking up at a clear night sky and seeing the stars. I wouldn't recommend 3000K as they look dull when compared to the 6000K. I will get these again perhaps in another color next time. As a suggestion to future buyers, once you get these replace the rechargeable AA battery with a better quality longer lasting name brand rechargeable AA battery and set (+ charger). Make sure the solar panel gets constant direct sunlight on a good day for most if not all day. Shipment was fast. Got these in 3-4 days. Good delivery service!

The media could not be loaded.  I love these lights! We had recently had two forced power outages and I was worried about coyotes getting into my goat and hen area at night with no lights. So I ordered 4 strings of these rope lights. They're perfect! I let them charge for one day and they sparkle great. They come on automatically at dusk. I don't think any varmints will wanna cross or jump over them. See the picture. Gives me a lot of peace of mind.

Works all night long, very impressed by that. Looks great. Did not want to buy solar but could not find one that is hard wired (plug-in). I will love it until I have to replace the battery. I can never find the right battery for solar lights. Love solar but that is the huge downfall by going solar.

I bought one set they work great. Bought another set had to send them back. The 3 rd set r working. I love them. I use them on my sidewalk and they look like a runway for plans.

I would have given a 5 star rating, but one of the 2 sets i ordered only works when it wants. The lights are beautiful at night along my deck when they work. I ordered 2 sets, one of them comes on at dusk when it wants and the other works perfectly all the time. When they both are working properly I couldnt be happier, the soft glow at night is just perfect!!! I wish I had ordered them sooner.
