Yamamura Reversal Mirror Reflect Mirror Left and Right seen by Others (Japan Import)

This mirror is great for seeing your "true" reflection or how others see you. I tried to make my own but had no luck. I found this mirror on Amazon and was very surprised by the quality. The mirrors are seemless and the box surrounding it is pretty sturdy. On the back side you have a regular front facing mirror and the other side has the "true" one. I definitely recommend to anyone who is curious about how others see you. It is quite fun after a while.

I got this mirror after seeing a similar one on TikTok and knew I needed to try it for myself. I was hesitant about spending this much on a mirror, and when it arrived, even after trying it out, I’m still confused why it’s so expensive. The material seems like a cheaper plastic, doesn’t feel sturdy or high-quality so $70 for this is a stretch. I’d feel a lot better about this purchase if it was closer to the $20 mark. I love that this mirror allows for standard mirror viewing on one side and the “true” mirror on the other. The versatility of the mirror is a selling point for sure. And yes people, there is a SMALL line down the middle of the image but honestly it’s so close to seamless that it’s negligible. In order to make a true mirror it requires multiple mirrors to be angled very specifically to reflect a reversed image. If you buy this mirror thinking that the way mirrors inherently work has changed, please do you research or even as yourself the most basic question, “if mirrors can do this, why aren’t all mirrors this way?” ….it’s because they can’t. Or at least they haven’t figured out a space-consolidating way to make them. I’m not gonna lie, I had a mini-breakdown after spending 10 minutes with this mirror. In a good way. Seeing how I actually present to the world and being able to interact with that magical creature on the other side of the glass the same way every other person is able to was pretty altering. Being able to see yourself smile and watch the way your own face lights up is pretty awesome. I’ve already noticed some of my little “-isms” (as we call them in my house) that’s I’ve never noticed before because they seem normal on a mirror. Like apparently I hold my head at a tilt which I was entirely unaware of (and let me tell you it took me ages to figure out how to hold it straight 🤣). I’ve already told all my friends and family about this mirror and the small impact it’s had on my already. Im hoping to begin my affirmations each morning with this mirror and see if it helps with the way I approach my days. I love the person I see in the mirror on a daily basis but we can all use a little more self-love and being kinder to ourselves. Im hoping that this product can make that a bit easier on the dark days.

I like the true mirror show both how you see your self in the mirror. And how people really see you . Good conversation piece. Gary

It’s bulkier than I thought it would be but it does what I bought it for and it’s sturdy so not bad for the price. It would be nice to have some lights on it or something because it’s hard to see your face when the room isn’t very well lit, but I’m still happy with it.

This is called a true mirror, supposedly reflecting your real face as seen by others. The way it is set up is more like a carnival mirror, with a big seam down the middle of your face. Going to the Goodwill.

Mirror works to show your true image ,what you look like in a regular mirror is reversed as if you were looking at your double standing in front of you looking back. One thing i noticed when i had a photo made my head was tilted to one side. When i look at a regular mirror it was straight, with the reverse mirror i was able to see it right away. Also you may Look a little different in a reverse mirror than a regular mirror, some may think they Look worse, some may think they better, but basically you won't Look mush different if any at all. This item has two mirrors a reverse mirror on one side and a regular mirror on the other side, its about 9 " by 9 " square, but you can easily see your whole face in it.

I think this mirror is overpriced, but it's the best reversal mirror you can find on Amazon. Sturdy, heavy, and a good size. I'll be keeping it for years to come.
