Panacea 70033 River Rock, Black, 2 Pounds

These are a little larger than I anticipated, due to my eager clicker finger, but they still look great in my zen elephant candle tray as it is fairly large. I have smaller colored stones in between the large dark ones and the overall setup looks great! The stones are about half the size of my Palm and are a slightly flat ovalish shape, with gentle variation. They are refined but not to a high polish, charcoal black with some veining.

About half of them were flat/small. They range in size from about 2 inches and flat to the size and shape of a large egg. They are almost all black, with just a few having small tan streaks or patches. They're not too shiny -- they have a natural finish.If you are covering the soil of a delicate plant with these, only about half will be usable. Luckily I have one delicate and one very sturdy plant.

I've never written a review before, but receiving these rocks inspired me! The bag contained SIX rocks and one tiny pebble. So if you feel like paying over a dollar per rock, these are perfect for you. Personally, I hope this seller lowers their prices or goes out of the rock-selling business pronto.

Rocks were not as smooth as they claimed. I used these rocks for decorations ( trees/ zen garden) not to have in an aquarium so you can see the imperfection and unevenness. Rocks were not as smooth as it claimed.

They look nothing like the photo, which was disappointing. The rocks are barely black, and mine at least had huge portions of beige in them; they also don't even have the same shape as the rocks in the photo! They are all random shaped and lumpy, not at all smooth ovals as pictures. All different sizes too. Considering I spent over $8 on a small bag of rocks, I expected better.

I got two of these river rock bags to place in a large glass hurricane together with a candle. They work perfectly. While there were a few bigger rocks in both bags (approx. 2.5" to 3"), the majority are around 1.5", give or take. All of the rocks were intact, none broken. Their polish is nice and natural looking, not overly shiny.Good product that I would buy again.

These were purchased for our guest restroom. We redecorated in red, gold, and black. These are in the sink, and have worked very well to 'tie' the room together. I purchased 2 bags originally, but I just purchased 2 more for the same sink.

Looking good and very natural. A few were split/broken, which I was OK with as it looks more natural, but buyer beware.Note that 2 pounds is only 10 pieces, each a about the size of a small kiwi on average. A little pricey for that, though it's not their fault I don't know how many rocks are in a pound, really...
