These sugar free candies are so delicious and we loved them. They were very fresh and good price but the package the seller put them in to ship to me was not good and they had set in our mailbox for over 2 hrs and thankfully someone was able to get them out of the mailbox on such a hot day because they would have melted. They were poorly shoved in a small cardboard mailer from the USPS and some pieces of the candy was broken and smashed but we still eat it because the candy is really good

This is a good product to reduce carb intake and still allow the sweet tooth to be satisfied. I am a repeat buyer of this product.

The earliest the package was predicted to arrive was July 8, 2020. It arrived today, July 3 2020. I want to thank and commend whoever it was that packaged the candy in the box. I first ordered this assortment back in Jan or Feb or March and was very pleased; so pleased, I was giving the candies away to my friends, to show off. However, when I wanted to reorder in May, I read all the terrible reviews about the melting and the staleness, so it was with great trepidation that I actually reordered. I suspected the problem was the various delivery trucks and uncaring drivers, so I was hoping the bad reviews would trigger a reaction. It certainly did. When I opened the box, there was a huge bundle of aluminum foil, I unwrapped several layers of foil and found the Stover envelope, a surprise, it was early. The envelope looked good and felt right. When opened, I sampled 4 different flavors. Conclusion: The shape and consistency of each piece was OK. The color seemed a little off; a very slight greyish, no bright shine. Taste: OK, but not the extraordinary burst of flavor that I remembered from the earlier order. I detected salt, graininess in the peanut butter, dryness in the coconut. Mint was acceptable, but nothing great. Overall, they were OK, but not as great as the first time. We have to recognize that the vehicles used for these deliveries are seldom refrigerated and the drivers can't always find a shady spot to park for their rest stops. So, perhaps the best thing we the buyers can do, is stock up during the winter. I like these too much to give up.

This candy was a gift for a chemical/fragrance sensitive friend - the envelope it came in was reeking of a smell like aftershave. She had a breathing attack and lost her voice for a few hours. Very bad reaction. I opened a few of the candies to see if the smell made it into the individual candies. It did not, but the chocolates were old and stale and had white coloring on the brown chocolate. Russell Stover should ban this distributor, they are wrecking the manufacturer's reputation.
