Blendin Replacement Cutter Blade and Gasket Agitator Assembly, Compatible with Oster and Osterizer Blenders

This little "O" ring is easily misplaced. The replacement package has more than one, making our blender instantly useable instead of just an object on the kitchen counter.

The item I received 2015-09-18 is match for the original Oster ice crushing blade with straight upward pointing tines. The Oster ice crushing blades have upward pointing tines that are straight, not curved. The photo for this item shows curved upward pointing blades, which is what I wanted, but not what I got. I am giving this only two stars since the product I received does not match the picture. If you are looking for an ice crushing blade, this will work fine. Updated 2015-09-22: This is not an Oster stamped item, but having already had an Oster Ice Crushing Blade, and comparing them side by side, I can see no different other than the stamped lettering. WebstoreUSA did respond and stated they had requested that Amazon update the picture.

I ordered this in 2012 and it has been great. Until this morning when this blade broke off while making my smoothie and ended up in my mouth. Thankfully I didn’t swallow it. To be fair, I did hear a thunk but thought the blade had simply hit a frozen strawberry so I thought no more about it, until I nearly drank it! I did just order another one though so...

If your like us, your blender could have been sitting on the counter top for 6 months and then someone in the family gets a wild hair and wants to make smoothies. Well.... this was me a couple weeks ago. I found that the gasket was missing and so if I would have started making my smoothy it would have leaked all over the place! I looked on Amazon of course and found some gasket o-rings in a 3 pack for $2.27. Ah ha! Now I would have extras I could hide away from the rest of the family in case another one gets lost. But as it is when looking for stuff on Amazon, I also found this complete blade cutter replacement. The price was so reasonable I also ordered it so now I have a brand new blender. Nothing usually ever goes wrong with the motor on these so remember, for a couple of bucks you too can re-new your Oster blender ;-) TW

This was a decent replacement part for the money. Make sure the gasket is completely dry before reassembling or it will leak.

My Oster started leaking - it is usually the gasket, but this time it was the blending blades themselves, or at least the bushing for the blades. Replacing the blades with this set of blades and gasket completely fixed my leak, so no complaints. However, it does not blend nearly as well as the OEM blades for whatever reason. After 15 years of perfect smoothies on the "frozen drink" setting, I now have chunks of bananas and ice bobbing around every time.

Our blade froze, and would not move at all. The blender itself is almost 30 years old. We were happy to find this inexpensive part, which is half the price of the manufacturers brand. This one looks identical, fit properly, and works just like the old one. Great deal!

Fitted my 40+ years old osterizer blender which now works a treat.

Fit perfectly to my Glass jar and the seal was exactly as it should be, ( food grade silicon seal). No leaks. I had no idea how dull the old blades were, (almost 30 years old). I put a handful of Ice in the blender to crush, and instead of pulsing , or chopping for near a minute ....it was done finer than a Slurpee ice in about 5-6 seconds....wow !
