Excellent auger
I love everything about this auger. I am 65 years old and it works very well for me.

Works great. I'm using it for fence post.
Using for fence post. Works great! I also bought a 3 inch auger to use as a pilot hole since I was worried about the torque if it hit a root. Definitely suggest the smaller auger as a pilot hole. It gives you an idea of what you are going to encounter at the dig spot. It also lessens the torque from the 5 inch auger since some soil is now removed. I needed to go 2 ft deep and this method worked great!

Lifesaver
Used to install aluminum fence post. Works great. Doesn’t like gravel! Used with Milwaukee 1/2 battery drill take your time.

Would be nice if there were extensions made for this product.
As a horizontal boring to put drain under existing walk.
