Perfect Replacement
Many Japanese-built Fenders and other makes from the '80s and '90s used this type of barrel jack. Some still do today. I recently had a very unique and somewhat rare MIJ 1984 Fender Boxer in for service. Unfortunately, the output jack was broken beyond repair. I used the original trim ring and this piece fit and worked perfectly, keeping the original appearance and saving me the time and expense of ordering an original from Japan. It is a three-contact, so just wire the extra contact point (ring) in series with the tip for added output contact.

A great replacement 1/4” mono phone jack for electric guitars of this type.
This worked well on a solid body Ibanez ART guitar as a perfect fit. Worth noting that I tested polarity using a guitar cord first on both jacks. In my case I kept the same ground lead of course, but had to trade which of the other 2 lugs I soldered the positive wire to for the original outcome. Glad I did a simple multimeter test first for my guitar.Otherwise it was a quick and simple swap with a small soldering gun. Great grip and solid connection for plugging in and playing in about 10 minutes total.

Not quite ideal for pedals
I used two of these for a DIY pedal and it's easy to solder but a hassle to mount and takes up a lot of space. Also I don't quite understand it but I used the short lugs for the hot lead, the longest ones went to ground and then I had to connect the third lug to each other to get proper grounding. Works well but again maybe not a great option for pedals

Best jacks i've found so far
Big fan of these jacks, and always buy them when I need a jack. The reason I go with this brand over others is that they come with a big rubber washer instead of nothing/a metal one, which I find seems to lessen the impact of vibrations/cables rotating in the jack, which typically lead to internally unscrewed output jacks over time, and are a huge PITA that historically are the cause of most jack failures I've had. I also supplement that with a bit of plumber's tape on the inside of the nut just in case. Never had an issue with these jacks since I started using them, so no downsides to report.

Hummed cable didny fit in right
Bought this to replace the barrel jack in my RG 655.IT HUMMED AND BUZZED.a guitar cable didnt fit in tight. I had also ordered another that i purchased on ebay. I pulled this one out put the other in and wired it up.That one works perfect,no noise,no hum and the cable fits in it snug.

Jack
Had my Ibanez pickup jack to go bad. Got this one to replace it. It was an exact replacement for it. Put it in with no problems, it sounds great now. Would buy it again.

Nice fit.
I like that fact that is was a direct replacement for the original. The install was simple and i soldered everything in place. I did not like the size of the locking nut as it was thinner than my original so i just reused the old one. No more signal lost and i can move freely without the worry of the signal dropping out.

Perfect
Does the job perfectly, and you can feel the quality - it has a recognizable weight to it.

Por mucho que lo ajuste, a conectar el cable, hace sonidos de ruido a mover minimamente el cable. He intentado con cables diferentes y sigue igual..
