Q: Does this fit and 8 inch outer x 5.25 inch inner holes?

Each handle has different hole specifications. You will have to match the handle dimensions to your suitcase specifically. I have already replaced handles on two of my suitcases and they work great.

Q: the screw distance is 7mm on my luggage handle. There are only two holes. Do you have a recommended replacement handle that will work?

I've used the Super Ma handles twice and both times I got a good fit. There are many models and each seems designated with a 01, 02, etc., model number. Each links to detailed pictures with exacting measurements for the hole distances and handle length. The screw hole configuration and distances are critical. I would remove the screws in my damaged handle and measure the empty hole distances on the case to find a match. If you find a handle with distances that match it should work.
