I got these for a hot summer vacation to Texas while 30ish weeks pregnant and they worked great! Easy to charge and last hours! They are a bit loud since the fan is next to your ear but worth it! I’m a bit confused how they work because there are no blades which is great for longer hair but they are pretty powerful! Pretty light on neck I did have to take off after a few hours which is expected because of the extra weight even though it’s only a pound or two. Overall would recommend!

I have POTS and needed something to keep me cool while I was outside in the heat all day long, as I have temperature sensitivity. Having this on my neck the whole day really made a deference. Being able to keep cool, hands free, where it was light enough to make me forget it was on, was amazing. It held a charge for longer than 6 hours, with battery left over.10/10 recommend if you suffer from POTS, or anything else that causes temperature intolerance.

This works as I expected based on reviews here and from The Wirecutter, where it’s the top pick. I found the middle of the 3 speed settings the most comfortable without being too loud.Pros: it provides good cooling for my neck and face and helps all of me feel cool. The middle setting in particular is a good compromise between cooling and not being too loud. It lasts most of the day at thst setting before needing to recharge. Since I often work with a fan in me and my large screen tablet blocks thst fan from reaching my face and neck, this is a good addition to my arsenal of cooling products and it allows me to keep working, not needing me to hold it as my handheld misting fan does.Cons: it’s fairly heavy and would,be annoying around my neck if I were being active, rubbing my neck if I am doing more vigorous housework. I’d still use it but it would irritate. The highest speed is fairly noisy and it can be heard in a call or onscreen meeting. It also dries my eyes out, something I hadn’t considered when I bought it and as I wear contacts this is irritating. It also takes a long time to recharge, hours longer than I expected. I was expecting to take about 2 hours or less and it took about 7 hours.I’d buy it again with those caveats given that I don’t have air conditioning but it does have drawbacks.

This fan is terrific for wearing outside on a hot and/or humid day! I was really concerned about it catching my hair but even when I hear the tips in the fan, it doesn't tangle or jam the fan. It fits easily around my neck and has three speeds. It's easy to charge and it really does make it easier to walk when the air is almost chewable. The first speed is very quiet but can still be felt. I tend to keep it on the second speed for the air pressure and the volume. The third speed really is a blast but tends to be a little loud, makes it hard to hear someone walking next to you. However, when it's hot, I enjoy the blast to stay cool. Fantastic purchase!

It does an ok job for the price. Personally, I always keep it on the highest setting and the battery seems to last fine somehow. But the only way I feel an ounce of coolness is if I have it on the highest setting. It’s light weight, but it’s not unnoticeable. You could definitely wear it all day though. I wouldn’t say it’s comfy because it doesn’t have any comfort materials for sitting on your neck- it’s plastic. But the overall look of it is pretty sleek. I bought it in the white and it goes with everything. The quality seems alright but the fan I wouldn’t say is high powered by any means. Better than nothing though. I think I would pay a little bit more for a high powered fan- but I haven’t tested any others in the market, so can’t really speak on how it compares to others.

I wear this around the house when I’m cleaning to stop myself from sweating profusely! It’s light and easy to wear, keeps a charge a long time, and definitely keeps me cool. I’m going to get one for my mom too!

The only thing I don’t like about it Is that it only blows on part of the back of my neck, on the sides, but obviously not at all in front. But using this WITH A neck cooling ring keeps me much cooler at work then I had been, and definitely more comfortable. Perform well, charge less quite a while, Very portable, and very easy to use. I’m considering buying a couple more for friends and family who bike or do lots of activities outside in the heat.

I kind of bought this on a whim after a discussion about portable "cooling" technology. I can't say I feel any cooler, though I do notice a bit less sticky sweat on my neck and forehead while using it during a more intense activity. The included instructions were pretty much useless as they described a completely different model, something about a red light (mines got green and only green) and opening and closing vents, which mine doesn't have.It's a bit heavier and louder than expected, but it appears solidly built. I do have the occasional problem with it trying to snag any little loose hairs, but so far no damage to myself or the device. Battery life is a bit shorter than I'd like, might get 2-3 hours at low.All in all, cooling would be any exaggeration, it's more like a neck and head dehumidifier. Still, quite a useful thing in a humid coastal city.
