Minor (expected) hassle = major saved cash.
My wife's key to her car had started coming apart - it cracked from the torque of being twisted regularly. I priced an OEM replacement from the manufacturer, and was stunned by the price. Given solid reviews on this key, we decided to give it a try - even if we had a miscut and had to try again, we could do that several times for the price the OEM part was going to cost. No worries though, we were good to go on the first try. While our experience was a piece of cake, there are caveats to be aware of:You must have two existing completely working keys available in order to "program" this key.The key will come as a blank. Many local hardware stores will not cut them for you because of the price of the OEM part of they screw it up versus what their cutting fee is. Call ahead - your local locksmith will likely do it for you subject to a disclaimer about "no returns or guarantees". If it's a reputable lock smith, they will do their best cut in good faith, and the cutting of the key will be just fine 99.9% of the time. You must get the key cut properly before "programming" it. If you have it cut and it can turn the ignition, then you're all good from a locksmith perspective.Programming: The same locksmith may be willing to program it for you for an extra charge, but if you want to do it yourself, the directions are included. They involve two steps: One to program the wireless unlock (independent of the key cut), and the other mates a chip that is built into the key to the car. This second piece involves quickly turning the car in and out of the "on" position (without starting it) a set number of times with each of the working keys, and then with the new key. The car will let you know if you've done it right - if not, try it again or take it to the locksmith to help you.Overall, it was a great experience for us, with only minimal hassle above a normal key cutting, and full function on the first try. For that minimal hassle, we could have had almost 10 keys for what the price of a dealer made key.

The all in one key!
Perfect replacement for separate key and fob that most 2000 to 2007 Fords came with. The only difficult part is trying to find a store associate that will cut the key for you(They can cut you a non chip key but don't want to touch these). The key looks identical to an actual OEM one and works for a 2007 Ford Focus. It took me less than 2 minutes to program the key with the 2 original car keys.

You either need 2 working FOBs, or take it to a locksmith who can program it.
UPDATE: Worked great for about 2 months and then stopped. New batteries, no damage, just stopped working and other than the physical key, is now useless. —— PREVIOUS REVIEW: I had two existing FOBs, with those and some youtube videos, I got my new FOB programmed, cut it to match my other FOB at Lowe's (they did it for free), and programmed it myself via youtube. Total cost about $28 vs. over $300 at a dealer!

Perfect
It was very easy to setup the fob and get the key cut. I would say the hardest part would be programming the chip. It’s 150 but worth it.
