Bates Men's Velocitor Side Zip Waterproof Boot, Olive Mojave, 8.5 M US

I ordered these boots for my husband a month ago and he uses them for house framing. He really likes that they're light wheight, helping him work comfortably. The thickness is good good, although, the groves in the soul get caught a lot, making the souls come off the shoes. They fit pretty good, we went for wide style. Overall these are good boots, unfortunately, they don't last a long time (if used for construction).

Edit new/add: Love these but stitching comes off on the outside side of both each pair I have owned. Parts of the sole become loose and sometimes cause stumbling when walking. I am writing Bates to see what they will do for me. I think I have had seven pairs now. Original review: Have owned 6 pairs. (I order extra pairs worried that they will be discontinued) I use them in very heavy industrial conditions. Feel excellent right out of the box, no break-in needed.

Boots are just what the doctor ordered. Light, mid ankle and dutiable soul. One of the eyelets popped out in firs week but looked to be a poor riveting. Fixed with shoe goo. Probably will order another pair when these are beat down.

They are very comfy the only problem is not waterproof I am very disappointed
