This book is really great & insightful for anyone in the south florida region...The author shares his experience dealing with obnoxious shenanigans of gardening in the area & how to overcome the hindrance that mother nature brings. His work is highly suggested as always. Illustrations are great as well.

Great book. Easy to read. Tons of useful information. Great for first-time, novice gardeners. Experienced gardeners will glean tips as well.

And getting caught in Hurricanes. Ok perhaps not hurricanes. But David the Goods book is an excellent, must read resource for the South Florida gardener. Instead of fighting the sub-tropical side, the book embraces it , giving the reader all the info to have a successful and thriving garden. No crazy hacks on how to grow cranberries using dry ice. So enjoy, your pineapples, coconuts and a whole lot more.

I have watched David the Good as a YouTube presenter for years and have several of his books. This gardening book is designed specifically for my climate and soil type. I hope in the next few years to develop a wonderful garden and may invest in David's Food Forest book next.

The book is very entertaining, down to earth (pun intended) and it explains everything one needs to know and do to grow food crops in South Florida. I would highly recommend this especially to the folks from up north moving to FL. It will eliminate years of frustration.

Another one to add to the David the Good collection. Made for people who want a lot out of their garden with a lot less put into it financially.

Loved the book a lot of information about growing fruit trees in Florida. Everything from what tools you need to what plants and when to plant them.

Being new to the area along with climate change very useful.
