Great Bike Rack!
I have a bumper mount rack for my wife's trike, so I needed to mount my mountain bike on the ladder. This rack was easy to install. The ONLY thing I would recommend is to use ratchet straps vs the straps it came with. I bought a set of 8 of them from Amazon. I use 3 of them on trike, and 2 of them on the ladder rack. One is used to secure the bottom of the rack to the ladder, and the second is to secure the bike to the ladder below the rack. No movement at all once that was done. The only other thing I did was put some padding on the ladder rung where the bike rests against the ladder. I have been on 2 trips already with this rack and it was a great purchase.

Well Designed -
Fits well. Works as described. Was concerned about whether it could bounce off the ladder. The top hooks are designed so that the rack must be vertical ( 90 degrees ) from ladder to go on or come off. Whether you use the provided strap to secure the rack or not, it can’t come off. Is well made and right for the job.

works to carry to biucycles on the RV
The rack held up with two bicycles but the ladder on the RV did not. The aluminum ladder broke after a few weeks of traveling

4500 miles and not a single problem
Drove for 4500 miles with two heavy bikes on the back (I am sure I exceeded the weight limit) without a single problem.Yes, as some of the reviewers have said, the arms slope downward when the bikes are on but the rubber straps held them on securely. The rubber braces and their straps do slide downward with the weight and the bumps so do yourself a favor and mark the areas where the braces are suppose to be so you can position them back where they belong. I also used the two straps that they provided to secure the bikes to the upper steps in case it did let go the bikes would remain with the trailer. I also used a cable lock to make sure the bikes were harder to steal :)A great product when you need something secured to your RV.

Good bike rack in general.
Good bike rack over all but don’t like the fact that when folded down to place the bike on the rack, the bars where the bikes go don’t stay at a 90 degree angle, they fold down much more. Bike rack was either poorly designed or poorly built. The rack does its job, just didn’t like that the bars did not stay at a 90 degree angle.

Used and damaged.
The media could not be loaded. Product was obviously used and returned. Missing screws. Unusable. Very disappointing and inconvenient.

I absolutely love this rack!
I have an arctic fox 990 truck camper which has a fairly slim ladder on the back but I think the ladder is just as slim as the one I had on my grand design fifth wheel, so I think they’re all similar in any case. If I were to build a rack myself, I would make it just like this one! It has stainless steel screws and lock nuts in all the right places, and it fits my ladder perfectly, and does not damage the ladder because there are pads and all the right places. I’ve had this rack for several months now out in the freezing cold rain and snow, etc. and it hasn’t rusted because they built it to last. Thank you guys!

Flimsy
Has to be high up. It's easy to hang, but the straps won't hold it in place or the bikes. It's also quite flimsy and probably would bend with 2 bikes unless they are very light. Had to use a friction strap and bungee to actually hold my bike.
