These are made very cheaply in China and most importantly, don't work. I ordered 5 and tried 3 of them. One needed a new battery and the other two refused to connect to the app. I was stupid not to purchase on Prime because I had to pay for return postage--back to China! Don't take a chance on this risky cheap product.

They would go off lick crazy even in the house with brand new batteries and without me setting off the app. Got them to track my cats in case they got out. Ended up throwing them away.

I couldn't get it to work.

I got two-they work perfectly, easily and are pretty cool. After loading a simple phone app, I can either activate a "lost alert," or, I think, have it alarm if it is separated from my phone. It only works over short Bluetooth distances, but it is still nice, great for the price, and comes with an easily replaceable common battery.
