It's a cute little shotgun with a compact and slim design, doesn't weigh your camera down much at all. If you're looking to put this microphone on a stand or have it handheld, I certainly recommend having a shielded TRS cable as this thing picks up everything. The included deadcat also exceeded my expectations; it eliminates wind noise well without compromising the audio quality, only attenuating very high frequency sound. Overall, this microphone is a good quality, highly portable, and cost-effective solution for general recording. It's not exactly podcast grade, but if you need something that beats your camera's integrated microphone, the VXR10 knocks it out of the park.

As a beginner filmmaker, I’ve been making short films with my friends and family, and I needed a reliable mic to improve my audio quality. I’ve been using this shotgun mic on my Canon 90D, and it’s been a great starting point for me. While it's definitely not professional-grade audio, especially in noisy environments, for the price, it’s a solid entry-level option. It’s easy to set up and works well for basic filming needs. The sound quality is clear enough for most of my videos, and it’s made a noticeable difference compared to using the built-in mic on the camera. For anyone just starting out and on a budget, this mic is a great way to improve your audio without breaking the bank. It’s a good balance of performance and affordability, and it’s been a great addition to my gear collection as I continue learning and growing in filmmaking!

There are much (much much much) better mics out there. I got this trying to be budget conscious, but in the end I think I'd rather pay more for a higher quality product. Don't get me wrong, it does what it's supposed to do, It's very directional, it's fairly crisp, but the range is small, and it really doesn't sound that much better than the media mod's mic on my gopro, but it does sound just better enough to us it. The big plus is that because it's so directional it I'm not nearly as concerned about getting good audio in a noisy environment. The build quality seems fine, and it comes with 2 mounts (making me question their durability) 2 chords (1 3-ring and 1 2-ring) a big fat dead cat (that is too big to stay out of the frame when mounted to the top of a gopro, and sometimes the side) and a carrying case (bag). This is ok for the entry level that it's made for, but now that I've used it a bit I feel that it would've been better to invest in something a little better right away, because I know I'll be spending the money on a better soon enough. I'm giving it 4 stars because in the end the price is right, but that is also the problem with it.

Excellent quality, sound is great on my recordings. Easy to connect

I got this product earlier than I thought I was going to get it. I immediately brought the package inside and opened it up with excitement! When I opened it up I saw the wind guard and how fluffy it looked. When I pulled it out of the packaging I was really surprised on how high quality the wind guard felt, I was expecting something very flimsy and almost like a cloth, but it wasn’t, it was nice that felt Solid to the touch, It felt very very high-quality! It came with two cords , one for your phone, and one for your camera. It also came with a little bag to keep your microphone in, and a little stand thing that you can put on your tripod or on the top of your camera. I was very pleased about how it looked like it was high-quality. I plugged it into my phone and immediately it picked up the microphone. I started recording a video and I held it close to my mouth then pulled it away Little by little,To see how far away the microphone had to be before it could not pick up my voice, and how far it would have to be before it starts picking up background noise.I then put the microphone to the side of my mouth and did the same thing. When I played it back The video, I did hear a little hissing sound, which was not bad, but you could notice it. Other than that it definitely made my voice sound more professional. I could not tell A big difference in sound when I was pulling the microphone away from my mouth from the front. I could tell as I pulled the microphone further away from my mouth from the side Though, My voice started fading away, which is good because that means that it cancels out the noise that is coming from around you, and that it focuses on the noise coming from in front of it only. I would definitely recommend this microphone to someone who wants to get a microphone that works just as good as a ROAD Maybe even better in my opinion. yet it’s half the cost.

Un ottimo acquisto per registrare video con un audio decente. La copertura pelosina garantisce una buona qualità in caso di vento. E' venduto con due cavetti, uno per essere collegato al microfono della videocamera, una per un utilizzo su smartphone. Lo porto sempre in viaggio in me, è compatto e molto leggero e si monta velocemente. Ha una piccola slitta che consente di essere agganciata alla piastra del flash a slitta o se si preferisce su un treppiede piccolino.
